Dos santos twice rejected a contract offer from Barcelona. His short term plans is now considering his options. And his concerns are that he is happy that barcelona are not willing to listen to offers for him.

But he has a release clause of $39.5 million so they have to accept my offer. But now when I offer him a contract he keeps saying that he is not interested in leaving Barca at the moment but might be later after having considered all the possibilities to him.

It's s closest I've come to signing him for my R.Madrid team. Anything else I can do to try and get him with me? I tried offering him a very good salary, praising him, declaring interest etc. But he either takes the praise with a pinch of salt or he is reluctant to leave.

You might have actually ruined your chances of getting him now by declaring interest and praising him. I think they start disliking you a little after you praise them and they reject your praise. The more you do it, the more they dislike. However, if they accept your praise, its the opposite. They more you do it, the more they like you. I'd say dont hassle him anymore if he's not accepting your praise. Just try to keep offering him a contract every 10-15 days and hope for the best. Its not usually towards the end of the season that they are finally willing to discuss terms. So try every 15 days or so and see if he's willing to discuss.

Got a chance to sign him on a free as he keeps rejecting a new contract at Barca but he ain't interested in coming
