I am managing Sheff Utd in the Premier League in 2009/2010. I'm trying to improve my squad. Here's a screenshot of my squad:
I am currently 179k below my wage budget, the problem is that no star players want to join Sheff Utd and I'm trying to look for hidden gems.I think it's time for Sheff Utd to have a complete makeover in order to progress in the Premier League and to make new signings and release any unwanted players. Your thoughts/ideas?
GK's - You seem okay with Paddy and Schwarzer.
FB - Marco Zambelli (Brescia) and Matty Taylor should want to come.
CB - Lee Wilkie from Dundee Utd. IGNORE his stats. Plays a gem every game. Looks like Leigh Bromby has gone - Top player as the right sided CB.
CM - Hamsik from Napoli is quality as a Dm in a midfield 3. Play Stephen Quinn on the left of the 3 and Hendrie on the right.
AMC - Get the Brazilian Alex from Vasco (Brazil U20)
CF - Matt Derbyshire is the boy. Links well with Billy Sharp. Also try Antony Laffor (Liberian International) Cheap at £140K, but great off the bench. Also try Mauro Zarate.
Just wone the treble with the Blades and off to Europe.
Try this guy from Lazio, I bought in my 3rd season for sheff utd..i'm now in the 4th season and he's 21.
Andrea Flavi - 2.5mil in season 3 (Finishing 19, composure 18, Acceleration/Pace 16/17, Technique 17 and first touch 16).
