just to let all members know sorry but the reason why the game cut off half way through your match tonight aida was because jimmy had a power cut. Luckily he saved it just before the last matches so the last matches we will all have to play tonight. So that means that 8-2 defeat aint there mike but im sure you will lose by more this time round

A very busy couple of months for the new Spurs manager, trying to stabalise the clubs financies and playing staff. We caught up with Mr Cain after a training session.

Reporter: Must have been a hectic start for you at the club Chris, how are things going?

Cain: Very well thankyou, the players have had their "Get to know me" period, and now they know what I expect from them from now till the end of the season. The clubs massive wage bill was a worry, but that has been brought way under the budget for the season now.

Reporter: Many fans were calling for your head when you sold Postiga to Burnley!! What was the thinking behind that?

Cain: Fanancial reasons, nothing more. The lad is a good player, don't get me wrong, but we need a larger team to cope with Internationals and injuries. That £12m has been promised by the board for strenghtening the squad. And as for calling for my head!! We have just steared Tottenham to a new record of 17 Games Unbeaten!! I hardly think we are in trouble. Another few good results and we are back in the mix for a possible top 4 finish.

Cain has done what alot of other managers would have feared doing, selling a star player while the club was in 14th place. This has been a master stroke, and the club have every right to focus on a top four finish.

Brummy finally get it right, welll if you had have been a birmingham fan over the last year you will have been counting your lucky stars!!!! beaten only twice in the last 10 but still dangling in 17th place in the premiership one of the most notable wins a 3-0 win against JOey Briggs Millwall and were 3-0 up against Burnley until 3mins from time an angry Burnley fan cut off power supply to all premiership and nationwide division club in the country, don't ask me how he did this he said' It is not my place to say this but........'. After long consultations with the fan he has been relesed on bail pending further enquires!

But one man who has backed Patten all the way has been Birhmingham chairman David Gold 'Well i always thought after the crippling financial state Abhi Christainsen left the club in Patten has had to work with limited finances and has turned this club around slowly, ok, we are not very well placed in the premiership but we hjave only lost 2 in our last ten and the team is looking like a team for once. Although Gold has addmited Patten will have to brnig the finances under control before he can have any real money to play with he remains supremely confident that Patten can deliver Mid table this season, and europe the next. 'Patten has done excepptionally well to bring players who never showed any real endever under Christiansen such as Rohan Rickkets who was due to be sold to crewe until crewes finances didn't allow that, he has been important to this side, but they keys n our side this season have been Lomana Lua Lua who Patten picked up on a free at the end of last season who has struck 11 times this season so far this season, and of course Omar Daley the ex-reading player has been esential who has netted 6 times this season.
