Goals from Kerrigan and sub gallacher allowed Stenie to ride there luck and grab on all 3 points. Outplayed for most of the match simply better finishing grab the points. But the superior finishing was to end here.

Stenie 0-2 Peterhead

stenie played well today only to lose a sore defeat, both goals coming against the run of play, stenie manager Stewart very unhappy but lessons are learned.

Stenie 1-2 Queens Park

Taken apart not at the races, midfield missing the whole game, strikers, well we can't really call them that. Stewart raging players dropped training doubled, simple not good enough.

Montrose 3 - 1 Stenie

Stenie falling into old habits, poor defending, woefull finishing, not attitude, Stewart gutted to such a poor team.

Stenie 0-1 Cowdenbeath

Again simple mistakes cause stenie to lose once again and leave then suffering at the foot of the table. Stewart looks at the end of his teacher but promises to stick it out not like other glory hunting gaffers in Scotland.


Well there it is not pretty reading but it gotta be told, maybe the next few games Stenie will shock everyone, but then again maybe not.....

Clan Announcement

Sunday nights game finished sharp to leave the cup games till this weekend, so we kick off at 6pm sharp if your not in the game tuff, we're not sitting by waiting on the stragglers to show.

Since I know a few of you come from the Dark Side do you all remember that your team is playing in some mickey mouse cup final this weekend ?

Can everyone email me saying if they plan to play this weekend.

The game is almost at mid way stage of the season, so we're moving along nicely lets keep it going and get the season over in the next few weeks and we'll access our options for adding a few more players in the new season, clan decision on this.

Well with a spokesperson for the Peterhead Fans expressing the opinion that
Robertson is doing a better job than Toner
(got to love news items like that ) everything looks good Peterhead way.

Manager Robertson responded with a released statement-

“ I’m happy the fan have the opinion that I’m doing a good job at the club, do I think I’m a better manager then the previous one, of course I do I’m a football manager after all and you have to have belief in your own abilities from the word go. I once again thank the fans for there support and know we can rely on them”


Cowden 2-0 Peterhead
Peterhead looked a team out of sorts on manager Robertson return visit to Cowden. His old team were simply better in all departments on the day and all peterhead had to show was the Injury to Scott Robertson on the 45th minute.


Peterhead 4-0 East Fife
Peterhead were back to there best to convincingly walk over East fife. It all started with an Own Goal from John Dodds 40th before David 59th and Scott Michie 72nd & 81st tapped up the three points. Bobby Duncan was M.O.M and simply controlled the game for us.

Cup
Peterhead 6-0 Spartans
Peterhead dominated from start to finish and had to play against ten men when Craig dick got sent off, six goals later it was all over and Manager Robertson was pleased Allan Youngson got M.O.M for all his hard work and his goal was a bit special as well. Miche with two and Boylan and Robertson with one a peace oh and that own goal by keven Mackenzie seen us through to the next round.


Livingston in the next round at home

Peterhead 2-0 Elgin
Another good home win and we never looked like loosing after Boylan scored on the 21st and the points were rapped up in the 69th with a Tully penalty. Elgin were not helped with Dickson being sent off in the 74th but it was all over by then anyway. A good three points that puts us strongly in control in the third.


East Stirling 0-1 Peterhead
Scott Michie did enough for us to win the three points in what was a close match, quite surprising really but Peterhead were not at there best after the cup game.


Peterhead 2-3 Stenhousemuir
A great game to watch with twists and turns. Peterhead took the lead only to see Stenhousemuir get a penalty they then took the lead only for Peterhead to fight back to go 2-2. Only slack defending cost us when stenhousemuir got there third. A match I thought we would have won viewing Steny’s previous bad results but happy at some of the player performances all the same with Keith Gibson especially in good form.
