With the team still sitting in 9th place the devilishly handsome Rouch was looking for the team to turn their good performances into a run of some kind, and now was the time to do it!

So Edan Waldman brings the Orange to the ‘pool, Edan’s Blackpool have been doing well in the league and a tough game was in prospect. The first half belonged to the home team however with Richie Humphreys netting after 6 minutes and a disastrous OG by new hot prospect (and one time ‘pool target) Bruno Gama on 20 to leave the host 2 goals to the good at the break. The Monkey hangers keeper, a key figure in the team, Williams was injured on 60 minutes, and Blackpool briefly rallied enough to grab a goal through Tomi Petrescu, but were not able to further trouble the reserve keeper, leaving Paul Rouch with the 3 points and the bragging rights

Foy put the ‘pool ahead in the first half with a magnificent strike and Strachan sealed the result and his MOM champagne with the 2nd late in the 90, as Hartlepool continued their good run in the league

As hristmas approaches the Bostonians arrive bearing gifts, 3 points for Hartlepool and goals for Boyd and Perpetuini give the ‘pool their 8th consecutive league win and push them into the dizzy heights of 2nd in the league :eek:! Perpetuini’s rare goal gave him the MOM accolade :thup:
