Kelly Dalgliesh: It was a good night for the Ipswich Manager Tony Hall as he only lost 1 match out of the 5 matches played, that being a 3-1 loss to a recovering Crewe side who are languishing at the bottom half of the table. Wins against Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday and draws against Leicester, and Preston have left Ipswich in 7th place and one point from the playoff zone with one game in hand over Preston who are one place above them. Manager Tony Hall has made his 3rd signing with FC Kobenhavn’s left sided attacking midfielder Carsten Fredgaard arriving in January. With the two other players on their way the strengthening of the Ipswich squad is on schedule for the promotion push.

Steven Kabba has been in talks with Tottenham about a possible move later on in the year after he told the manager of Sheff Utd he thought it was time to move on stay tuned to see if anything develops

Scrappy affair this one with Kabba opening the early in the game after 3mins and then it was Blake on loan from Man Utd who made it 1-1 on 22mins from then on it was real tight at both ends of the pitch,neither side where able to make any chances pay off

This was a very hard fought battle and looked like heading for penalties until sub Tonge scored on 109mins to secure the win and a dream tie at home to Man Utd in the next round

This one was electric from the start Dean Ashton scored with 60secs on the clock and Drury made it 2-0 on 12mins, Sheff Utd fans mustve thought the worst but a Carlitos and Kabba Double killed off league leaders norwich Carlitos 16,69 and Kabba 33,92 thats 38 points in 16games for Sheff Utd

Not much to report in this one really Quinn opened the scoring on 26mins with a lovely header from a Pezzarrossi corner and Danny Graham on loan from Middlesborough made it 1-1 on 38mins, thats was the end of the goals but not the action with Utd coming close twice more in the dying minutes.

stay tuned for more from Bramall Lane and see if Sheff Utd can once again be amost the big boys in the Premiership.........
