Reguarding DIGFMO I've hosted 3 games now varying in tournaments & all been a success, saved games also used by a friend & that was a good game also.

Definately think its a great idea to bring this back & again like DezMW I'd be more then happy to help out in this with hosting & getting it up & running.

Id like to be able to (as a clan host) to be able to correct and tidy up our own clan threads.

Im sure that the clan hosts such as myself would not be here to abuse other users and would be responsible enough to treat other clans and users with enough respect etc.

I find it quite annoying that for example if some numpty posts on your thread, you cant delete it yourself as sometimes, the mods and helpers tend to take too long doing it or dont do it at all.

Not every clan member, just the established clan hosts.

Its common sense really. It takes some pressure off the mods, and allows the clan hosts a bit more responsibility and freedom to manager their clan thread.

Clans come and go, but the serious ones will last and the threads will look much better and professional.

You know whats even more annoying, clan leaders posting that their annoyed about a post made by some numpty in their thread and then saying that mods and helpers take too long or dont do it at all.


You know why that is annoying? Well, these clan leaders complain about it all but they do bugger all in terms of getting in touch with a mod or helper to actually resolve the issue.

So with no communication from them, we aint gonna resolve all their problems now are we? It just takes a few seconds to send an email to say, I'm X from X clan, this is our thread, give a link, some plonker has posted in our thread, could you please review it and hopefully take the action of deleting it, many thanks, x host.

If people started using what is available to them, you'd probably find, like some already do, that things actually get done, just needs some communication.

Making established clan hosts mods or helpers just so they can manage their own thread isnt really a solution though, there is a lot more to being a mod than just managing a clan thread. Also to add, we have enough helpers and mods in this forum anyway.
