Yeah but tbh if a clan was running for a year it would have regular updates, and you should have more than 2 seasons completed after a year...

I want to see an ambitious forum. Mods determined to see on-line FM fulfil its potential. The struggle we have embarked upon is a struggle we must win: to modernise this forum so that it is a stronger, more efficient , in which all have the chance to succeed.

We have set ourselves tough tasks.

To build an forum driven by the power of knowledge and education, and a new entrepreneurial spirit.
To end schoolie drivel within 2 years.
To deliver a return in our long term gamest.
To modernise our posts so that they are high quality throughout the whole community.
To make the forum strong again on the world stage.

These are ambitious goals. They cannot be achieved overnight, or all at once. We can only achieve them in stages. Laying the foundations first, investing newposts, driving through reform, refusing to be deflected from our priorities. But they are goals that are worth the fight, worth the setbacks, worth any amount of criticism along the way.

For these goals have one thing in common - they are rooted in our unshakeable belief in advancing the aspirations of the whole community, supporting hard working clans up and down the country, and not just the privileged few.

I want the whole community to be part of this vision. All parts of FM sharing in the growing prosperity of the Sports Interactive. I want each individual, wherever they live, to have the opportunities to succeed in FM, to get a fair deal. That is why I am here posting today. To listen, to learn, to see how we can build on your successes and help solve some of the deep-seated problems that affect the game we love.

Rosco, you sound like a politician
Some good points though

Anyway, the thing that I think would help most of all would be to have two sub-forums under FMO, as well as the motion for bringing back the established status.
I'd make the main forum be for clan advertisements, and player availabilities and general offtopic(ish) stuff; the first sub-forum would be for all the Help stickies and topics, and the second sub-forum would be dedicated to clan threads only.

I think that the forum is far too cluttered as it currently is, as everything goes everywhere. By keeping the help threads to one designated area, and the clan threads to another, FMO should be a lot more organised.

As a last note, maybe the mods should try and take more action against all the numpties that repetitively post crap in the forum at the moment. Isn't it possible to remove their ability to post in the forums or something?

Cheers.

Steve
