Don't forget that Mika has Polish goal scoring machine Frankowski. That guy has gotta be the best player in la Segunda Division.

Llorente
I'd had a *cough* quick look at the Segunda Liga squads during the Xmas/New Year period, and it seemed to me that Albacete, Valladolid and Recreativo were the better ones.
Obviously Tenerife are well-known and I should be able to attract decent players, though the 3M Euro debt and the need to reduce the wage bill by 30k/week are going to be a hindrance in the initial stages. Having said that, the 'financial' aspect of the game is fairly easy to manage.
I doubt my squad is good enough to achieve promotion, and I also doubt I'll be able to bring in enough quality in the first season. Still, onwards and upwards eh? |

Kuk/Mika prob best to give people the friendly dates before "official" start time, so when server goes up we can arrange friendlys so it wont slow session.
Good luck to all!

Erm, sorry about posting twice in two minutes, but I've just remembered something I meant to ask; do we have a new worldclan website? And if so, what is the address?
If not, then get off your hairy arse Damo, and start keeping your word! |

: | Good idea, we should sort out dates for friendlies before we start the game so that we can arrange them (or most of them at least) before 7:45.

Rep Power: 0 | Verona ... SORRY ... Gimnastic boss excited by the new challenge
Having already ruffled a few feathers in the pre-season build up, normally media shy boss James Peters today called a press conference and had this to say. ‘It’s with great anticipation that I start a new season in a new league and I’m so glad my fellow managers don’t expect us to challenge for anything – it will be a surprise when we do get promoted – and it will be when the time is right.
If I learnt anything a Verona it was not to promote too early and end up a yo-yo team like some many other managers have been in the leagues.’
Making sense for a change he got up and left. Peters seems unable to help himself and continues to have sly digs at the opposition managers. 'It's all part of the fun' he was heard to say as he left the building.
