Sky News Report

Kelly Dalgliesh: “7 Wins, 3 losses and 1 draw and 22 points out of a possible 33 points have left Reading in 3rd position in the Championship and only a point behind 2nd placed Wolves. Several of the Reading players are playing extremely well but one player in particular has been impressive, Vincent Pericard. The summer signing has emerge as 2nd placed top goal scorer on the Reading Books and the fans are enjoying watching his performances. Reading Boss Tony Hall is also pleased with his performances, especially is man of the match performance in the 4-0 demolition of Sheffield United who were just simply outclassed. However Tony Hall was sympathetic towards Steff Browning’s plight. After the match Tony Hall came to the defence of the Sheffield United boss stating that if anybody can save Sheffield Utd and give them success Steff Browning is the man for the job.”

Norwich Results

Norwich fancied themselves for this one after their victory away to Brighton in their last game. Pettigrew's men failed miserably and lost to a 45th minute goal from Carl Asaba . Norwich had alot of chances but could not score.
Score : Millwall 1 - 0 Norwich
Man Of The Match : Andy Marshall

League Cup

Norwich went into this cup game as the obvious underdogbs but Pettigrew had said he has his heart set on a good cup run to keep the players morale high. Norwich did not dissapoint the travelling fans when Robert Earnshaw darted past the West Brom defence and slotted the ball home after just 9 minutes , Norwich then went on to dominate the remainder of the game with another goal from Jurgen Colin in the 54th minute . West Brom fianlly had a chance in the 90th minute when Jonathan Greening struck the ball from 30 yards to get a consilation goal as the game ended 2-1.
Score : West Brom 1 - 2 Norwich
Man Of The Match : Dickson Etuhu

Yet again another new manager came to Norwich and went defencive trying to hold out for a draw and that he did Tony Hall's Reading came not really playing the lovely game of football and just sitting back soaking up pressure without attempting to attack. Pettigrew's Norwich were powerless to break down the 11 men behind the ball and even as the Norwich gaffer sent on an extra striker they still could not break down the back 6 of Reading. This game was a poor show of football as it ended 0-0 with not many chances going to either side.
Norwich 0 - 0 Reading
Man Of The Match : Bjarni Gunnarsson

Norwich went into this game favourites against a mid table Stoke side. Dicksen Etuhu for the first goal for Norwich after 23 minutes with a Header from a Robert Earnshaw free kick.Stoke then replied after 37 minutes with a counter attack and Bangoura getting onto it and scoring. In The send half neither team looked like scoring but than Dicksen Etuhu was the man for Norwich as he scored in the 84th minute with a typical header from the big man. Norwich will be happy with this win.
Score : Stoke 1 - 2 Norwich
Man Of The Match : Etuhu

Norwich fans looked forward to this game even though top goal scorer Robert Earnshaw was out injured. Norwich took the lead from a Dicksen Etuhu goal after just 2 minutes and then 3 minutes later Earnshaws replacement Sergey Kisliy scored and then scored again afetr just 10 minutes to make it 3-0 . Noriwch failed to score again but did not let Ipswich hav any chances . Game ended with a 3-0 win to Norwich which Pettigrew and the fans were happy with the great display.
Score : Norwich 3 - 0 Ipswich
Man Of The Match : Sergey Kisliy

Norwich and Watford both fighting for a play off spot at this moment and time and this game was certainly always going to be eye catching. Watford were 3-0 after just 24 minutes with a hatrick from on loan star James Keene which shocked Pettigrew and his players. Robert Earnshaw then pulled one back after 37 minutes to give Norwich a glmour of hope. Norwich came out fired up in the second half and Sergey Kisliy scored 2 minutes into the second half to make it a tense finish but Norwich could not get another as Watford held out for their 3-2 win.
Watford 3 - 2 Norwich
Man Of The Match : James Keene

Norwich went 1-0 after 20 minutes with Robert Earnshaw converting a penalty and then Matty Fryatt replied 10 minutes later to make it 1 all the teams went in 1-1 at half time . Norwich yet again came out looking up for it and did not dissapoint with a goal in the 62nd minute from none other than the clubs top goal scorer of the season Robert Earnshaw . Norwich saw this game out and won it 2-1 .
Score : Norwich 2 - 1 Leicester
Man Of The Match : Robert Earnshaw

Norwich expected this game to be a walkover against a struggling Cardiff side. Cardiff against all odds scored after 3 minutes with a goal from Diallo and then again after 9 minutes from Lassissi. Pettigrew was clearly not happy with this and was shouting and screaming instructions at the team but they did not look interested. Scott McDonald then scored to pull one back after 30 minutes and then Danny Szetela after 44 minutes . The teams went in 2-2 at half time and Pettigrew clearly not happy . The press said they heard rumours of what Pettigrew's Half Time talk was like and he was said to of shouted "What the hell are you guys playing at its Cardiff not Chelsea , get your finger out your arse and go play bloody football before i fine you all". His half time talk obviously had no effect as the game ran out of time and ended 2-2.
Score : Norwich 2 - 2 Cardiff
Man Of The Match : Carlos Garcia

League Cup

Cardiff came into this game feeling more confident after the last game against Norwich ending in a draw but Norwich manager Sandy Pettigrew refused to speak to the media before the game .The first half was very tense and no goals were scored and not many chances created. In the second half Cardiff went 1-0 up after 58 minutes which enfuriated the Norwich manager . The Norwich players looked worried as they did not know what would happen if they lost but then Norwich's star man Robert Earnshaw scored after 70 minutes and then again in the 90th minute to secure a place in the next round for Norwich.
Score : Cardiff 1 - 2 Norwich
Man Of The Match : Robert Earnshaw

Norwich dominated the whole of the first half but only finished 1 of their chances with a goal from Robert Earnshaw after 23 minutes. Hull then came out looking the better team with Delaney scoring in the 50th minute and then against in the 90th minute to steal all the points for Hull!
Score : Hull 2 - 1 Norwich
Man Of The Match : Damien Delany

Sandy Pettigrew's Norwich went gung-ho at Sheffield Utd's home ground but Sheffield United looked like they were happy to sit back and let Norwich attack . Sheff Utd's unattractyive style of play worked for them in the first half with Norwich having the majoirty of the ball but just could not break down the opposition defence. Norwich came out even more attacking in the second half and got their rewards for all theri nice play in the 90th minute when young starlet Ryan Jarivs stepped up and slotted the ball away to make it 1-0 and that was the end of play.
Sheff Utd 0 - 1 Norwich
Man Of The Match : Paul Ifill

Southampton manager Andrew Hepburn decided to take a holiday and left his assistant manager in charge for this one . His assistant is doing a better job than Andy anyway so Norwich were not looking forward to this game. The game was a close game and very well played by both teams with the ball going end to end all the time. Ryan Jarvis scored after 19 minutes and then Jones scored for Southampton after 29 minutes to make it 1-1 . The game was played out but neither team pushed hard enough to get a winner so this one ended 1-1.
Score : Norwich 1 - 1 Southampton
Man Of The Match : Kamil Koswski

Norwich had a mini Injury crisis before this game and a rare start for Andy Hughes in this game. Paul Furlong put QPR 1-0 up after 20 minutes but Norwich's Scott McDonald equalized 5 minutes after with a screamer from outside the box. Both teams seemed happy with their first half performance and went in 1-1 at half time. QPR then scored in the 50th minute with another goal from Paul Furlong and then Andy ughes scored for Norwich to makle it 2-2 in the 80th minute . The game ended 2-2 with neither side really deserving the 3 points.
Score: QPR 2 - 2 Norwich
Man Of The Match : Paul Furlong

Another match between two clubs fighting for promotion . Stand in forward Ryan Jarvis scored a cracking opener after just 4 minutes to make it 1-0 . Scott McDonald then made it 2-0 after 39 minutes with a header from a Jurgen Colin cross. Norwich looked like they were going to breeze through this match but then Robbie Blake got a impoartant goal for Leeds just before half time to make it 2-1. The teams came out after half time and neither created much but Scott McDonald got another 1 for himself in the 94th minute to secure the point for Norwich and end the game 3-1.
Score : Norwich 3 - 1 Leeds
Man Of The Match : Scott McDonald

League Cup

Liverpool looking to walk all over Norwich with opposition manager Paul Rouch Steff Browning and Rob Perry all watching with great anticipation of watching Liverpool hammer Norwich but this was not the case as Scott Mcdonald scored to make in 1-0 after 14 minutes and thendoubling the score to make it 2-0 after 42 minutes. Liverpool went in 2-0 down at half time. Norwich came out looking forward to the second half and enjoying themselves but no-one enjoyed the game as much as Scott McDonald who scored a third for Norwich and a third for himself in the 80th minute to make it 3-0 to Norwich , yes 3-0 to Norwich . John Arne Riise then got some pride back with an absolute beuaty from outside the box as the game ended 3-1 to Norwich.
Score : Liverpool 1 - 3 Norwich
Man Of THe Match : Scott McDonald

Norwich were knackered after their midweek exploits against Liverpool but went into this game as favourites but Burnley hammered Norwich 4-2 in this game with 3 goals from Man Utd's Giuseppe Rossi in the 32nd 57th and 65th minute and Spicer also scored for Burnley in the 43 minutes. Norwich's goals came from captain Carlos Garcia in the 24th minute and a goal from Norwich wonderkid Sergey Kisliy in the 36th minute.
Score : Burnley 4 - 2 Norwich
Man Of The Match : Rossi

Norwich yet again without their usual 2 strikers up front but Ryan Jarvis did not dissapoint as he scored in the 20th minute to open the scoring against Preston. Preston didnt create much but Alexander did finish Prestons only chance in the 47th minute to make it 1-1. Young Ryan Jarivs carried Norwich on to an important win as he scored in the 94th minute to make it 2-1.
Score: Norwich 2 - 1 Preston
Man Of THe Match : Ryan Jarvis

Norwich facing relagation strugglers Crewe , this game was never going to be a pretty one but Norwich deceided not to show up for this one as the only players performaing were Danny Szetela and Scott McDonald. McDonald scored after 8 minutes but 10 minutes later the Norwich defence was asleep and Crewe's Eddie Johnson scored to make it 1-1. Norwich came out in the second half still not looking interested but Danny Szetela stuck 1 away in the 65th minute to make it 2-1 and yet again the Norwich defence could not keep Crewe from scoring as they did again in the 71st minute to make it 2-2.
Score : Crewe 2 - 2 Norwich
Man Of The Match : Danny Szetela

Norwich clear favourites for this one as they had a point to prove after their draw with Dario Gradi's Crewe. Scott McDonald won this game for Norwich as he scored on each side of half time his 1st from a corner in the 36th minute and his second from a through ball from Szetela in the 67th minute to make the game end 2-0.
Score : Norwich 2 - 0 Luton
Man Of The Match : Scott McDonald

League Cup

Norwich never showed up for this game and Manager Sandy Pettigrew refused to give any comments after thia game. William Flood scored after 33 minutes and Sylvian Distin scored in the 91st but Pettigrew refused to comment on the game .

Norwich fans did not make the effort to travel to this game as only a few of them showed up at Coventrys ground , Jose Ricardop Duno scored after just 15 minutes to put the away team 1-0 up but Norwich simply could not hold on as James Scowcroft scored in the 37th minute to make it 1-1 as tghe teams went in at half time. Coventry came out flying and Gary McSheffry scored in the 66th minute to make it 2-1 and then Dele Adebola finished Noriwch off by scoring in the 89th minute. The game ended 3-1 to Coventry.
Score : Coventry 3 - 1 Norwich
Man Of The Match : Clayton Ince

Hepburn returns to the helm at Saints!!!!!

Yes folks, after a week away from it all Southampton manager Andrew Hepburn is back and ready to lead the Saints to the Premiership once again. Hepburn has been away on a well needed holiday and has come back looking brilliant and in the mood to do some damage with the Saints. He commented,

"Yes I have been away on a well needed holiday to Tenerife to fry myself and relax. I don't know how my team got on while I was away as I have lost my assistants contact details and did read any newspapers etc while I was away. I am sure he will have done pretty well but now I am back and raring to go. The first game I have back is against paul Rouch's Palace team, unbeaten and all that. Well they will not be unbeaten after my Saints team beat them i can assure you of that".

Stong words from Hepburn as he prepares his team to meet the league leaders and what a game it should be.
