Norwich had a point to prove after Paul Rouch's comments on Norwich's style of football . Pettigrew set out the way he normally does with an attacking 4 4 2 with McDonald and Earnshaw up front . The first half was slow and not many chances were created by either side as the teams went in at half time 0 - 0. Robert Earnshaw then got on the end of a Colin corner to make it 2-0 to Norwich . The game ended 2 - 0 and Norwich won it quite comfortably.
