Sheff United manager feels like using blades to slit wrists
Things are going from bad to worse at Bramall Lane as Sheffield United look destined for the relegation dogfight instead of battling for the playoffs
Saturday 26 November 2005: Wolves v Sheff Utd : Coca-Cola Championship : 2-0 loss
We found ourselves up against 2nd places Wolves here and not a even a call from third placed Reading manager, Tony Hall could inspire my lads, Hall must have surely been hoping that we could knock off Wolves and do his Reading side a favour as they looked to close the gap for the automatic promotion place.
The match itself was a throughly one-sided affair and sadly that one side was Wolves

They finally made the breakthrough in the 42nd minute through Denese Rosa, and ten minutes later in the 52nd minute they all but wrapped up the points through Rohan Rickets.
Saturday 3rd December 2005: Sheff Utd v Plymouth : Coca-Cola Championship : 3-0 win \o/
Finally back to winning ways!
Steven Kabba opened the scoring in the 20th minute, Sheffield United got a fortunate break 11 minutes after the opener as Jon Hoyles was sent off for Plymouth in the 31st minute, this allowed Steven Kabba to find space in behind the defence to clamly slot home the second goal in the 35th minute. On the stroke of half time Plymouth's game plan and discipline simply collapsed as Paul Connolly was sent off for a shocking tackle on Kabba. Four minutes after the restart the game was over as a contest as Kabba completed his hat trick. The only downside to this match was the injury to Alan Quinn that will see him out of action for two months.
Saturday 10th December 2005: Millwall v Sheff Utd : Coca-Cola championship : 5-1 <STRIKE>raping</STRIKE> loss
Well after the performance against Plymouth, most would have expected us to give Millwall a good here right?
NO!
Things started badly as Berry Powel opened the scoring for Millwall in the 14th minute, things seemed to pick up in the 17th minute as Ade Akinbiyi pulled the blades level. Sadly this was all we offered up in the way of offence as Millwall went on to crush us like the little bitches we are

Barry Hayles put Millwall back in from in the 43rd minute and Berry Powel grabbed his second of the game right on the stroke of half time. Into the second half and in the 62nd minute Barry Hayles grabbed his second of the game and Lloyd Dyer completed the rout in the 64th minute.
This lot are rubbish
Tuesday 13th December 2005: Sheff Utd v Crystal Palace : Coca-Cola Championship : 1-1 draw
Zis iz Eric Cantona taking over zis match report.
Ze gaffer had a heart attack just before kick off and was rushed to l'hopital just before ze start of ze game, I think it was ze thought of facing le future champions Crystal Palace that did it to him

But now it iz my chance to shine in ze dugout, and if the Crystal Palace fans don't learn how to keep their mouths shut or i'll give zem ze kung fu kick.
Against all odds Steven Kabba opened ze scoring in le 6th minuite and a battling performance saw us hold on until the 62nd minute when ze Palace managed to pull level through Jon Macken. Both teams had chances to win ze game but in ze end a draw was a fair reflection.
Je adore le football management! but for now I must go I have some more nike commericals to make.
Vive Le France!
Saturday 17 December 2005 : Sheff Utd : v Brighton : Coca-Cola Championship: 2-0 win
Another win \o/
We dominated this match from start to finish and it was little surprise when Steven Kabba opened the scoring in the 18th minute and the only shock was that it took until the 71st minute for the Blades to score again through Krisztian Kenesei.
3 points \o/ oh how precious
Monday 26th December 2005 : Reading v Sheff Utd : Coca-Cola Championship : 4-0 defeat
Another crushing defeat here

The player that Norwich manager Sandy Pettigrew had been shouting about, Vincent Pericard opened the scoring in the 27th minute, I guess Reading Manager Tony Hall knows a bit more about a decent player than Pettigrew, this is probably why Hall's Reading side are in 3rd place and Pettigrew's Norwich are lying in 8th place. Sheff Utd managed to keep the game alive as a contest (god knows how) until half time. Kevin Doyle opened the second half action as he gave Reading a two goal cushion a minute after the restart, a Nicky Shorey penalty made it three in the 61st minute. The pain was completed via Scott Goldbourne in the 75th minute

P!sh.
Lurching from one crisis to another here, dropping more points that we are picking up and losing goals left right and centre, its now not a chase of can we make the playoffs but more a question of can we avoid the drop?
