why should ‘Move Matches for TV’ be un-ticked ? is it just fm2007 related ?
I don’t read the fm Online forum very often, but today I had a look at the FAQ and noticed this advice :
It is recommended that for network games you have ‘Move Matches for TV’ un-ticked in your preferences.
It is important that not only the host, but all clients have this option unchecked at all times.
I didn’t have the chance to play fm2007 (offline/online) until now, but I’ve played fm 2006 for a few months with a buddy online, and I never had the ‘Move Matches for TV’ un-ticked. Why should this be un-ticket? Is this advice available only for fm 2007 ?

Because if your playing a game with 8-10 players, it can be extremly time consuming to have games all over the week.
For example, you can have a games moved all over the shop and it can slow it all down dramatically. You wont ever get far in a game when your all playing at different times. If you turn the thing off, then your league games etc will all roughly be kept at the same time, and will only be moved when there is a game clash or something.

It definitely works now, you just need to ensure the host and all clients have it unticked at all times, not just when starting a game.
if you forget to turn it off at the start when loading up the game but all players turn it off after, will it be ok??
