Short summary of André Johannessens start at Bristol City:

1 Signing, Arsenal young starlet Abeye(Loan until end of season) was brought in to strengthen my goal scoring ability. With Marcus Stewart, Michael Bridges and Abeye. I feel that the team is more than capable of getting the promotion.
I will probably be looking for reinforcements in January.

Preseason:

Ended a very variable preseason with a entertaining game against porto.

Bristol City 2 - 1 Porto

First League 1 game:

Bristol City 3 - 0 Oldham

Then came the clash against mighty Doncaster,
I was at the moment on heavy medication. Well I was on something though not sure on what. I somehow decided that my reserve Goalie Sam Pierce deserved a spot in the central midfield. Resulting in him getting a solid 1 rating in most local and national newspapers.
Not the media attention I wanted. The board had a thing or two to say about that aswell. ;-)
The result:

Bristol City 2 - 4 Doncaster

3rd match of the season:

Bristol City 3 - 0 Colchester

Winning 2 out of 3 matches, we where satisfied, sitting in the 6th place in the league.

The next month brought little good tidings for my brave Bristol City side.

Bristol City 1 - 2 Blackpool

Bristol City 0 - 1 Leyton Orient

Bristol City 0 - 1 Tranmere

Bristol City 0 - 1 Huddersfield
(Plunged down to a solid 20th place in the league)

And finally my strikers understood the basics of kicking the ball behind the goalkeeper and in between those posts with a net attached to it.

[b]Bristol City 4 - 2 Port Vale[B]

[B]Bristol City 2 - 3 Barnsley[B]

Bristol City 2 - 2 Yeovil

Bristol City 4 - 4 Scunthorpe

Bristol City 2 - 0 Bournemouth

Bristol City 2 - 1 Chesterfield

All in all, I feel we are on to something here. Though my goal was promotion to the championship this season. I will still strive to achieve this goal.

(Signed Swizz full back Corati on a free transfer)

After a good start to the season MK Dons managed to push themselves as play off contenders and are currently lying 5 points of the last play off place with just under half the season gone. Around 80 players have been signed although all are due in January so they are having to cope with their current crop of youth players due to the disastrous fitness of players as a result of the heavy training schedule.

The recent results of MK Dons make for average form:

Crawley 2-3 MK DONS (FA CUP 1st Round Replay)
MK DONS 0-0 Bradford
Colchester 0-2 MK DONS (LDV VANS)
Walsall 2-0 MK DONS
MK DONS 2-3 Huddersfield (FA CUP 2nd Round) Oh dear oh dear
Colchester 3-1 MK DONS MK DONS 3-0 Blackpool

Exited the FA cup but still very strong in LDV and final win gave league position a boost, overall not too bad a session.

In the latest round of games Toontoon and Spidey going Nowhere kept Doncaster Rovers moving in the right direction, Toontoon was pleased that he lost only one league game, however the mighty Charlton Athletic came to Doncaster and left 4-0 winners.

Toontoon's best game so far was against Brentford, it was an incredibly tight match, Brentford were much the better side in the first half and desrved to go in the 1-0 leaders at half time, however early in the second half Donny pulled it back to one all, and then both sides had goals ruled out. The game was end to end and Donny managed to get a late penalty and went 2-1 up. Once 2-1 up the team seemed to goto sleep, apart from the keeper who miraculously kept the lead in-tact and Donny won 2-1. After the game Toontoon commented that he was one game closer to the mental asylum because a game of that tension had him a nervous wreck.

brentford

A quick update from me,The date we are on is December 10th,Im currently lying in 5th position but need to have more consistency if we are to make the automatic promotion spots. The last game session saw some great games with us involved,We(brentford) played away to Toons side Doncaster and despite taking the lead and actually playing really well we ended up beat 2-1.We also somehow managed to lose 5-4 in the LDV vans trophy a really mad game, and then to finish the night off,we were away to Dane Vincents(Bill Shankly) Tranmere,a game we bossed from start to finish and yet finished drawing 3-3.Too many sloppy goals and also too many games when the keeper just isnt doing his bit,we will score against anyone so ive got to sort the other end out.Looking forward to January 1st and the transfer window opening, ive got 6 players coming so we`ll see how we go.

Toontoon & Spidey going Nowhere met with his first case of player attitude. Michael Mcindoe a left winger was upset that he wasn't getting in the team, however toontoon's approach wasn't caring, it was just plain tough, Mcindoe went on the lsit and within a week, Brighton were paying 220k for him, Money which will be welcome come the window. The sale of Mcindoe also takes toontoon under his quite small wage budget

So, after however many weeks of playing, the table as it stands is shown below, if bradford and doncaster clear automatic promotion hopefuls, it is left to MK Dons and Brentford to salvage playoff points and mid table obscurity for the likes of chesterfield, bristol city is all but a luxury to teams who are really in the bother including Bourenmouth and Tranmere. With numerous votes of confidence being handed out, it is obvious Tranmere boss Bill Shankly has a lot of learning to do in a very short space of time.

With the influx of new year signings,I was looking for more stabability at the back and after our last session it looks like I might have it.After a good win away to brighton in the FA cup we produced a poor performance to lose at home to Barnsley but then responded by holding Bradford 0-0 away,we then went on with only 1 fit striker to outclass the totally overated MK DONS who are managed by the totally overated Taymaz Rad,a comprehensive 2-0 win could so easily have been more. The night finished with another good win 2-0 over Walsall,so we had 3 clean sheets on the trot,a big difference compared to earlier in the season,Flahavan in goal,Bennett,Bignot and Heckinbottom at the back all look good signings and have really tightened the defecne up.The night ended with Wigan bidding 750K for my midfielder Jay Tabb, ive turned it down but thinking on it,that is a lot of money.

Oh dear son, firstly, try to not look desperate, it isnt good, secondly, there is a website and a clan forum and contact details so if you do want to join maybe you should contact from there. Finally there is an available players thread, where you should put detials of yourself to get contacted.

So next time you know, Dont post applying for clans in clan threads and dont post your email address as i think its against rules but youll have to check on that.

Toontoon & Spidey Going Nowhere, continued leading Doncaster down the merry path, George Ndah his summer signing for 3k was sold to Portsmouth for £250k. Also Toontoon is looking forward to playing Tottenham in the 4th round of the FA cup, can miracles happen?
