Managed to use my season's quota of 20 signings and first league game ended 1-1 against Berwick, I could still do with some improvements to the squad however I will have to protest a bit more to get my wishes.

Beat Gary at the second attempt following the crash, in the first game my heroic 9 man Rovers team pulled back a 2 goal deficit to get a 2-2 draw. The second attempt was a comfortable win for us. If I was to be asked which result I enjoyed more I would have to say the first one as the comebak was amazing.

One of the things that was easily apparent here was that goalkeepers in this league are absolutely naff until Gary insults them, once Gary starts saying that they have paper mache hands and such like the keepers become world beaters.

Well it worked for my team

Stenhousemuir fans are said to be celebrating after appointing the far superior of the Gillespie brothers as their new manager. Not only has he seen eight of the ten third division clubs in action at some point, he has seen Stenny playing just a few months ago.

A number of summer signings have arrived at Ochilview, including former Scotland international Paul Bernard. It looked like Jason Dair was about to jon him, however he mysteriously ended up at Arbroath instead, much to the younger, more talented and better looking Gillespie's annoyance.

A good start to the season followed, with wins over Montrose in the league and Stranraer in the cup (on penalties). However, these games mysteriously had to be replayed - perhaps due to some bizarre match fixing plot - and in the re-match a controversial last minute goal saw Montrose take a completely undeserved victory.

Sadly this years clan is being destroyed due to the huge amount of crashes we are seeing, we have tried two different hosts and there is no joy, unfortunately it means that the clan is as good as suspended until SI get this sorted as we cannot continue with having the amount of crashes that we are recieving.

We had three crashes this evening, another three or four on Monday, and two on Thursday, it means that after two and a half sessions we have only moved forward 4 games, yet we have played 10 games.

After having such a successful clan in 06, with the online game pretty good, one would have thought that not many changes would have been made to the online programming within the game. Sadly that does not appear to be the case.

I'll post even though we have been plagued with crashes. We have even tried switching host with the same result. As a result we are probably going to put this game on hold until SI have released a patch.

I was installed as the new manager of Arbroath. All things considering they don't look too bad. No money to spend but we also don't have any outstanding loans. There are a few promising youngsters who will hopefully develop and can be sold for some decent money. I brought in 6 players on free transfers, including Luke Vincent a young English striker who could be a star.

The opening game of the season saw us at home to Elgin. We made the best possible start when Willie Martin scored after less than a minute. We played well for the rest of the half but couldn't manage to grab another. An og with 15 minutes to go gave us a 2-0 lead. Alan Brazil grabbed a 3rd in injury time for a fine 3-0 win.

We then faced 1st Division side St Johnstone at home in the League Cup. This was always going to be a tricky tie. And that turned out to be the case as we were 4-0 down at half time, 2 of the penalties. The second half was an improvement as we only conceded one more.

Back to league duty and we played host to Taz's East Stirling. We played really well in the first half and went in 1-0 up thanks to an early goal from Watson. Second half we continued to dominate and despite having plenty of efforts on goal we could not extend the lead. However East Stirling never looked scoring and we ran out 1-0 winners.

Our first away game was next when we travelled to Dumbarton. We struggled for long periods of this game. Martin scored just after the hour mark and against the run of play to give us a lead. It was short lived as Dumbarton equalised shortly after. Both sides had chances to win but it finished 1-1.
