A new clan for FM07 formed by members of Wisla's Sign up thread over on GQ- http://community.sigames.com/eve/for...1/m/6752051942. We are all relatively new to FMO but have got used to it
and are setting up our first clan
The teams have already been chosen (we have just got the prem season started) and this is how the draw went :-
Sifrow- Watford wisla_krakow- Man Utd (lucky ) riks_12- Chelsea (extremely lucky :o) Saxonator- Bolton adam_thrower- Charlton Tilla- Portsmouth sean_oc16- Spurs birdy123- Man City
The crew :-
Mike Bird- Mike (Birdy) Bird is a relative newbie to the forums, compared to the
rest of the group. At 14 he is the youngest manager in the clan, but
this does not inhibit his attacking style of play one bit. Managing
Manchester City, he will stake his claim, however tough this
challenge might be for him, to become the best manager in the clan by
taking his team to Premiership, and Champions League glory.
Alex Drew- Alex Drew got the tough task of replacing Sir Alex Fergurson at
Manchester United. A relatively unexperienced manager, but the
manager of the successful C.F. Leyendas sign-up hopes to carry
his successes from that into life at Old Trafford. His tweaked
4-4-2 has worked wonders for him before, will it help lead the
Red Devils back to Premiership glory?
Josh Tyler- Josh Tyler has been given the difficult challenge
of spending Alexandre Gaydamak millions and keeping
them up in the premiership But no doubt the Pompey
faithful will want silverware this season. Tylers
Inexperiance could be costly when the older heads
in the camp shine through.
Chris Saxon- Taking over at Bolton with hardly any money is
an unenviable task but thanks to a transfer window bargain basement
clearout he's been able to add to his squad of golden oldies and will
look to use his absolute tactical crapness to lead his side to mediocrity
Adam Thrower- Our host for game \o/! Has an extremely difficult challenge at Charlton
and is currently struggling at the foot of the prem thanks to his limited resources. Can he last longer than Iain Dowie?
Sean O'Connell- Has made a number of big money deals to strengthen his Spurs squad in the summer. Is currently having a great start
to the season and will look to gain european football for Spurs once more. Obviously having more
challenges than avoiding the hilton hotel Sean has to get spurs back were they're fans believe they belong Europe
Riho Rüütel- Got a great draw for the game (he supports them too :o) and will look to spend that
russian billionaire's cash wisely and lead Chelsea to a 3rd succesive premiership crown. Can he fight off the challenge of
Drew's Man Utd team? A disadvantage for him however is that his joining late means that there are just 3 days
of the transfer window left for him to splash the cash
Infa Mulafasi- Infa Mulafasi takes the tough job at Watford. Expected to be relegated, can Mulafasi bring in the right men and steer his side to survival?
-------------------------------- We are not looking for any new members as of late but shall inform you in the clan advertisements thread should we need
one
Our playing times are 8PM - 12AM Friday and at random times during the weekend should everything go to plan. Updates shall be posted once a week
Special thanks to Sax for putting all this post together
Fans outrage at inexperienced new "idiot" in charge
Premiership club Bolton Wanderers' chairman has become the target of a barrage of abuse from the bolton faithful
after an incident involving ex-manager Sam Allardyce. Eye-witnesses from inside the club say that the argument between
Gartside and Allardyce was sparked off by comments about Allardyces running of the club and his questionable signings
as of late. We are lead to believe that comments such as "we're not a ****ing retirement home, bring in some youngsters
so we can finally get some glory round here!" and "a training bloomin' chimp could do the job better than you!!" were
aimed at the outgoing Wanderers boss.
In a mad rage Gartside then took to the street and named the first person that he saw the new Bolton manager. That person
was unknown ex-sunday league Lithuanian footballer Chris Saxauskas.... how they wish they had that trained chimp now....!
Saxauskas will have to learn fast if he is ti meet expectations of a safe midtable finish this season
Summer Signings
David Jones (loan from Man Utd)
Benoit Costil (Caen)
Josep Guardiola (free agent)
Chris Brunt (Sheff Wed)
Diego Klimowicz (Wolfsburg)
Aythami (Las Palmas)
Phillip Ifil (loan from Spurs)
Saxauskas was unlucky in the transfer window, being outmuscled by the money of the bigger teams in the league meant that
most of the Lithuanian's transfer targets eluded him.
Sack Sax! Sack Sax!
Were the premature cries of the Bolton faithful after a fairly poor season, fans were always going to be trying to find flaws in
the new manager's style and the poor performances and boring matches havent aided him in detering the doubters
Bolton 1-1 Sheff Utd
Hulse '14
Klimowicz '63
A game of two halves, Sheff Utd shaded the first and Bolton t'other after a wise tactical change from Saxauskas. A debut
wondergoal from Argentinian striker Diego Klimowicz (32) the highlight in a tightly contested game
Bolton 0-1 Portsmouth
Lua Lua
Another even, gritty well contested match which was won in the end by a low drive from Lomana Lua Lua. Bolton will feel slightly
aggrieved that their strikers' impotence couldn't get them at least a goal that their performance warranted
