The Rovers Record - A win, yes folks a win at last!!!!!

Well at last after a terrible run they have finally managed to register another win along with a draw and a loss. It was not pretty but Blackburn won a game at least during March. Their performances have actually been pretty good this month and at last they got a bit of luck and have won a game. here is the latest from Ewood Park................

Premiership

Chelsea v Blackburn - (A) Sat 3rd March 2007

They started the month with a loss at Chelsea but played well and were unlucky not come away with at least a point. Chelsea started much better and had most of the possession as you would expect but Blackburn ere battling away and trying to make Chelsea rush. Two goals in the first half from Drogba had Chelsea coasting but Blackburn dug in and made Cech make a few saves. They pulled a goal back in injury time but it was not enough in the end.

Final Score - Chelsea 2 v 1 Blackburn
Goals - Chelsea - Drogba (20,34)
Goals - Blackburn - McCarthy (84)
Att - 40655
MOTM - Didier Drogba (Chelsea)

Premiership

Aston Villa v Blackburn - (A) Sat 17th March 2007

This game was as poor as they come in terms of quality and entertainment value. Neither teams created much and Villa did have the better of the chances but lady luck was smiling on Rovers as Villa passed up those opportunities and Rovers sneaked a late winner through Brett Emerton. Hepburn was absolutely delighted and prolly relieved his team had finally won a game after such a poor run of form. Rovers were lucky but Hepburn was not caring he was just delighted his team had won again at last!!!

Final Score - Aston Villa 0 v 1 Blackburn
Goals - Blackburn - Emerton (81)
Att - 42105
MOTM - Andre Ooijer (Blackburn)

Premiership

Blackburn v Sheffield Utd - (H) Sat 31st March 2007

A very sloppy performance from Blackburn here as they gifted Sheffield Utd a two goal lead before starting to play football. Hepburn was hoping to build on that win at Villa but they were really sloppy and Utd were dominant and should have been ahead in the first half. They got their rewards early in the second half with two quickfire goals and Ewood Park was stunned. Hepburn was furious and demanded more from his players and they managed to fight their way back into the match with two goals in seven minutes from Nonda and McCarthy to save the day for Rovers. They should have actually won the game but Nonda sent a header wide with only a few minutes on the clock remaining. In the end Hepburn settled for a point but was not a happy person in that dressing room after the match.

Final Score - Blackburn 2 v 2 Sheffield Utd
Goals - Blackburn - Nonda (70), McCarthy (77)
Goals - Sheffield Utd - Ifill (45), Davis (52)
Att - 21567
MOTM - Claude Davis (Sheffield Utd)

A short month for Rovers with only three games played due to their exit from the FA Cup. It gives them more time to prepare for matches and players will be fully rested as they all pull together to try and get Blackburn out of the mess they are in at the moment.

West Ham enter a brave new era – The rouchie years

Still consistently inconsistent this season, with only the fact that we are inconsistent remaining consistent

West Ham Vs Fulham – Saturday 3rd March 2007

A winning start to the month as the hammers take Fulham apart, although the scoreline suggests a much closer game! NRC grabbed the opener in the first half, Billy Jones got the second shortly after the restart,. Fulham did pull one back completely against the run of play but West Ham had already done enough to secure the win

Final Score : West Ham 2 Fulham 1
Fulham Scorers : Diop (55)
West Ham Scorers : Reo-Coker (26) Jones (52)
Attendance : 34566
Man Of The Match: Billy Jone (West Ham)

Rangers Vs West Ham – Wednesday 7th March 2007 – UEFA Cup 2nd Knockout Round Leg 1

A poor loss in the UEFA cup with a sending off for the visitors dead on half time when Bobby Zamora wa given his marching orders Despite leading at the break, the hammers being reduced to 10 men predictably meant they were not as competitive in the second 45 Rangers quickly equalised then took the lead. Dean Ashton briefly levelled things for the below strength West Ham but a 3rd goal for the *** gave Rangers a cosmetic advantage from the first leg

Final Score : Rangers 3 West Ham 2
Rangers Scorers : Svensson(58) Buffel(63) Adam (84)
West Ham Scorers : Ashton(15, Pen 82)
Attendance : 49891
Man Of The Match: Karl Svensson (Rangers)

West Ham Vs Wigan – Saturday 10th March 2007 – FA Cup 6th Round

A distinctly dull cup game with a goal apiece in the second half the only thing to cheer about, another draw though for the Hammers and the replay at the JJB Stadium to come

Final Score : West Ham 1 Wigan 1
West Ham Scorers:Cole (82)
Wigan Scorers:Camara (72)
Attendance : 35238
Man Of The Match: Fitz Hall (Wigan)

West Ham Vs Rangers – Wednesday 14th March 2007 - UEFA Cup 2nd Knockout Round Leg 2

Another cup game, this time it’s Europe. West Ham hung on in his eventful second leg, but were through to the quarter finals thanks to Nigel Reo-Coker’s strike in the second half

Final Score : West Ham 1 Rangers 0
West Ham Scorers : Reo-Coker (52)
Attendance : 31817
Man Of The Match: Robert Green (West Ham)

Reading Vs West Ham - Saturday 17th March 2007

A poor game for the hammers, with no luck at either end of the pitch, Reading ran out surprised winners in a game that could easily have saeen the scoreline reversed

Final Score : Reading 3 West Ham 0
Reading Scorers: Shorey(Pen 36 Pen 58) Doyle (64)
Attendance : 24179
Man Of The Match: Marcus Hahnemann (Reading)

Wigan Vs West Ham –Wednesday 21st March 2007 – FA Cup 6th round Replay

Another game where the opposition keeper wins the MOM award, and West Ham tumble out of the cup as Wigan take full advantage, despite Harewood’s rallying strike in the second half the Irons couldn’t find the vital equaliser

Final Score : Wigan 2 West Ham 1
Wigan Scorers : McCulloch (12) Landzaat (Pen 36)
West Ham Scorers : Harewood (54)
Attendance : 25106
Man Of The Match: James Ashdown (Wigan)

West Ham Vs Aston Villa –Saturday 31st March 2007

Despite gifting Sandy Pettigrew and his Villa side an early goal the Hammers clawed their way back in to the game an were put on level terms by Marlon the Mekon 8 minutes before the interval. Tevez grabbed the eventual winner mid way through the second half to give rouchie a rare win over a fellow clan manager!

Final Score : West Ham 2 Villa 1
West Ham Scorers : Harewood (37) Tevez (68)
Villa Scorers : Dagoberto (3)
Attendance : 35480
Man Of The Match: Nigel Reo-Coker (West Ham)

West Ham enter a brave new era – The rouchie years

Still consistently inconsistent this season, with only the fact that we are inconsistent remaining consistent

West Ham Vs Hertha BSC – Wednesday 4th April 2007 – UEFA Cup Quarter Final Leg 1

A fantastic European night under the lights at the Boleyn as West Ham run rampant over their German opponents. Carlitos Tevez opened the scoring on 9 minutes and Deano Ashton made it 2-0 on the quarter hour mark to give the Hammers a comfortable lead to take in to the break. Ashton added his second and the teams third shortly aftyer the restart to leave the squad looking forward to the return leg with some confidence

Final Score : West Ham 3 Hertha BSC 0
West Ham Scorers : Tevez (9) Ashton (15, 53)
Attendance : 31807
Man Of The Match: Nigel Reo-Coker (West Ham)

West Ham Vs Portsmouth – Saturday 7th April 2007

After the glories of the UEFA cup, a poor and dismal premiership against fellow Clan Manager Steff Browning and his Pompey side. Injuries to key strikers in the first half for both teams, with Mido and Tevez both having to lead the field of play didn’t help matters, and when Ashton missed a penalty before the break it became obvious that goals were not going to feature on the night. A dull 0-0 was how it finished with the Pompey keeper earning the Man Of The Match award

Final Score : West Ham 0 Portsmouth 0
Attendance : 435469
Man Of The Match: Dean Kiely (Portsmouth)

Middlesbrough Vs West Ham – Monday 9th April 2007

Another defeat in the premiership, this time to the dullards of the north east, Middlesbrough, perfect preparation for the UEFA cup game in 2 days, which will be our 4th game in a week

Final Score : ’boro 2 West Ham 0
’boro Scorers:Morrison (39) Viduka (51)
Attendance : 34993
Man Of The Match: Jonathan Spector (West Ham)

Hertha BSC Vs West Ham – Wednesday 11th March 2007 - UEFA Cup Quarter Final Leg 2

Already 3 ahead in the first game, West Ham were gifted the perfect start in the return leg when Mark Noble converted the penalty awarded in the 7th minute to secure the all important away goal. Hertha were forced to attack and this resulted in an open game from which West Ham scored twice more in the first half through Marlon the Mekon to put the game beyond doubt at 6-0 on aggregate. West Ham sail through to the Semi Finals as the only clan member left in Europe

Final Score : Hertha BSC 0 West Ham 3 (West Ham win 6-0 on aggregate)
West Ham Scorers : Noble (Pen 7) Harewood (14, 45)
Attendance : 31817
Man Of The Match: Marlon Harewood (West Ham)

West Ham Vs Watford- Saturday 14th April 2007

An early strike from Mascherano was all that was required to separate the two teams at the end of the day, and gave the hammers a much needed league victory

Final Score : West Ham 1 Watford 0
West Ham Scorers: Mascherano (7)
Attendance : 29743
Man Of The Match: Javier Mascherano (West Ham)

Tottenham Vs West Ham –Saturday 21st April 2007

Rob Perry whooped my ass

Final Score : Spurs 4 West Ham 0
SpursScorers : Maduro(4) Ziegler (37) Berbatov (63) Defoe (80)
Attendance : 36253
Man Of The Match: Berbatov (Spurs)

West Ham Vs Benfica –Wednesday 25th April 2007 – Uefa Cup Semi-final Leg 1

2 goals in a minute was the story of the night, Tevez grabbing the opener on the hour and Benfica equalising within 60 seconds, leaving the visitors with an away goal and the advantage back at home :thdn:

Final Score : West Ham 1 Benfica 1
West Ham Scorers : Tevez (60)
Benfica Scorers : Miccoli (61)
Attendance : 35474
Man Of The Match: Carlos Tevez (West Ham)

West Ham Vs Man City –Saturday 28th April 2006

Another game against a fellow clan member. This time it was Dave Johnson and the Citizens. West Ham started brightly and took their chances in a tight game. Tevez opened the scoring, and loanee Tavano doubled the advantage before half time. The hammers could even afford to miss a penalty in the second hald as Man City were unable to find a way back in to the game

Final Score : West Ham 2 Man City 0
West Ham Scorers : Tevez (39) Tavano (43)
Attendance : 35463
Man Of The Match: Nigel Reo-Coker (West Ham)

Just May to go now, keep watching!

West Ham enter a brave new era – The rouchie years

Still consistently inconsistent to the end

Benfica Vs West Ham– Wednesday 2nd May 2007 – UEFA Cup Semi Final Leg 2

The biggest game of the season so far for West Ham and they travel to Portugal at a slight disadvantage, having to score to stay in the competition. Unfortunately that simple fact seemed to elude the players and no one was immortalised in the West Ham Hall Of Fame as they tumbled out of the competition. Benfica scored in the second, but that didn’t alter the requirement for West Ham, but then Harewood was dismissed, and substitute strike, Zamora limped off injured and it was the Portugeezers that were left to celebrate reaching the UEFA cup final on the night

Final Score : Benfica 1 West Ham 0 (Befica win 2-1 on aggregate)
Benfica Scorers : Miccoli ( 53)
Attendance : 57083
Man Of The Match: Danilo (Benfica)

Wigan Vs West Ham – Saturday 5th May 2007

After being knocked out of the UEFA cup the hammers found it hard to lift themselves for this match and went through the motions as they played out a 0-0 bore draw :thdn:

Final Score : Wigan 0 West Ham
Attendance : 25106
Man Of The Match: Nigel Reo-Coker (West Ham)

West Ham Vs Liverpool – Sunday 11th May 2007

The final game of the season was all played out in the second half. Marlon Harewood grabbed the opening goal to put the hammers in front but Hyypia equalised for the robbing scouse gits to leave the hammers stranded at 9th in the league table and no European football at the Boleyn next season despite reaching the semis of the UEFA cup this year

Another defeat in the premiership, this time to the dullards of the north east, Middlesbrough, perfect preparation for the UEFA cup game in 2 days, which will be our 4th game in a week

Final Score : West Ham 1 Liverpool 1
West Ham Scorers:Harewood (63)
Liverpool Scorers:Hyypia (79)
Attendance : 35446
Man Of The Match: Sami Hyypia (Liverpool)

So West ham met the objectives of mid table security but also had the excitement of some decent cup runs domestically and in Europe. Rouch will be looking to bring in some new faces before the new campaign begins with a view to improving on this years final; placing!

UEFA Champions League Qual 3rd 1st Leg

CSKA Sofia 1 Tottenham 4
Attendance 2828
So with a very low attendance Tottenham showed they mean business in the Champions League this season Delgado opened his account for spurs on 13mins and then again 3mins later, Defoe then made it 3-0 on 27mins before dos Santos another debutant sealed the win after only half hour, CSKA would get one back through Furtado on 75mins but surely this one is already over before the 2nd leg.
MOM Jermain Defoe 9

Tottenham 1 Reading 0
Attendance 33710
Tottenham kicked off the new season at home to Reading and it was new boy Delgado adding to his growing tally already on 51mins, Reading came to WHL with 3 ex spurs players in the line up but they just couldnt break down the new look spurs side and it stayed 1-0
MOM Craig Gordon 8

UEFA Champions League Qual 3rd 2nd Leg

Tottenham 3 CSKA Sofia 1
Attendance 32068
Tottenham looking towards the group stages now really put out a weakened team but still managed 3 lovely goals dos Santos who seems to love scoring in europe made it 1-0 on 22mins Jenas added the second 11mins later Yanev then got 1 back for CSKA on 40mins before Ledley King headed home on 56mins from the corner.
MOM Giovanni dos Santos 8

Portsmouth 2 Tottenham 1
Attendance 20867
A visit to Steff Brownings pompey up next Defoe opened the scoring after only 3mins and Portsmouth fans mustve thought they where in for a terrible day Quintana on his debut broke through and slotted past outcoming Gordon on 60mins and then former spurs man Mido sealed the win for the home side on 75mins and Spurs where left stunned as it looked like they could run riot from the start they had
MOM Marcelo 8

Champions League group draw has been made and Tottenham have been given a very tough group Lens, Porto and Roma, they also have been given odds of 18-1 to win it so if you a gambling man (Sandy) put a tenner on it

Champions League Group C

Lens 1 Tottenham 3
Attendance 35314
Tottenham came out firing with Defoe putting then ahead after only 3mins, Aruna pulled Lens level on 21mins, Ledley King then went off injured and looked like he maybe missing for a while after a nasty injury Huddlestone scored on 63mins to make it 2-1 to the visitors and then Defoe sealed the 3points on 78mins in what turned out to be a very good performance from the lads.
MOM Dimitar Berbatov 8

Tottenham 3 Aston Villa 0
Attendance 33707
Much anticipated visit of Sandy's new look Villa side in this one but Delgado had other plans he slotted home after only 4mins he then pounced again on 24mins before Ziegler scored a rare goal in what turned out to be an embarassing match for Villa who now lay bottom of the Premiership.
MOM Cesar Delgado 9

Stay tuned as we get more from WHL and see if Tottenham can stay in the Champions League

The Manc Pre Season Update

Well its time again to get the season started, but first is the all-important pre-season. A time for transfers and friendlies. A chance for each manager to add to their squad and tweak their tactics ready for the new season. But for Manchester City it was more a time to try and cut the wage bill.

First to feel the effect were 2 of City's old boys Trevor Sinclair and Claudia Reyna. Both were out of contract and with demands of over 20k per week each I just had to cut them loose. Moving in the other direction though were 2 players who, despite their talent, were not asking for too much. First off was Kily Gonzalez the 32 year old left winger spent some time on loan at City last season. But now he has joined permanently for 275k. Secondly was a highly rated youngster who I predict will shine at this level. Emiliano Vecchio, an 18 year old AMC joind for a fee of 2.5mil. But since he is so highly rated I was more than happy to pay that.

Now its time for some friendlies, and the ass man must have taken a break when it came to setting them up. 1 friendly was arranged against Oldham away, but I added some last minute practice games against the U18s and reserves.

Friendly

Oldham 1 - 2 Manchester City (Fowler, Samaras)
Reserves 1 - 2 Manchester City (Dunne, Vassell)
U18s 0 - 5 Manchester City (Corradi, Veronx2, Zurawski, Samaras)
Reserves 0 - 3 Manchester City (Samaras, Gonzalez, Fowler)

And the final news before the season starts -

Corradi is sold to Messina for 800k in another attempt to lower the wage bill. And another winger Juan Manuel Ortiz was brought in from Atletico for free. The 25 year old right winger will give us some more options for the season in case of injuries.

But thats that, the pre-season is over and its time for the league to begin. It will be a long tough season for Man City as they fight for a European spot this year. The bookies have as marked as long shots at 50-1 but the main aim this year will not be to win the league but to establish City as a true contender for the European spots within the premier league.

Premiership

Manchester City 2 - 2 Middlesbrough

Citeh's season looked to get off to a great start as Samaras gave them the lead after only 34 seconds. Citeh continued to impress for the rest of the first half and Vassell added to the tally after 32 minutes. It really looked like Citeh would get their first 3 points of the season today as Huth was sent off just before half time as he was adjudged to bring down the last man in a certain goal scoring opportunity. But into the second half and the tables seemed to turn. Not that Middlesbrough were playing very good, but City just seemed to drop their game. And 2 goals in the space of 3 minutes for Milan Baros gave Middlesbrough a point.

Man City Scorers: Samaras (1), Vassell (32)
Middlesbrough scorers: Baros (66, 69)
Sent Off: Huth (Middlesbrough)
Attendance: 47974
MotM: Juan Manuel Ortiz (Man City)

So a disspointing draw there after being two nil up. But a promising first half display as we totally dominated Middlesbrough.

Premiership

West Brom 3 - 1 Manchester City

This time round the performance was totally different and it was West Brom who took the lead after 2 minutes. We only managed 1 shot on goal for the entire half. Very dissapointing. Into the second half and it just gets worse as Koumas makes it 2 for West Brom. A glimmer of hope for Citeh when Samaras pulls one back but Todorov seals the win in the last second for West Brom.

West Brom scorers: Quashie (2), Koumas (59), Todorov (91)
Man City scorers: Samaras (78)
Attendance: 27910
MotM: Whittaker (West Brom)

Very dissapointing to lose against the premiership new boys there but its still early. In other news league 2 Swindon will play host to Citeh in the League Cup second round. And even more surprising was the award of player of the month for Dietmar Hamann who hasn't started a single game.

Premiership

Manchester City 2 - 0 Fulham

It was back to a performance like the opening game as Man City totally dominated Fulham here. But it took until the 44th minute for Dabo to fire home a free kick. But with 57% possession Citeh were in total control. The second half was much like the first with Citeh in control but once again it took until the 86th minute for the win to be secured. This time it was debutant Davide Carrus who grabbed the win.

Man City scorers: Dabo (44), Carrus (86)
Attendance: 41297
MotM: Richards (Man City)

A nice win to end the session there and things are looking good with some impressive performances so far. Its just a case of maintaining form.

West Ham enter a brave new era – The rouchie years – Season 2

A new hope (for consistency)

Transfers In

Gabriel Tamas was snapped up from Spartak Moscow for £2.8 million to bolster the defence. Paul Rouch was particularly excited about the purchase as he feels Tamas will grow to be a world class player. We shall see! A number of other players were targeted but last minute complications with work permits meant that their signatures were not secured in this transfer window, although the manager remains hopeful of securing their services in the next window.

Transfers Out

Veteran striker Teddy Sheringham was allowed to leave on a free transfer after loyal and gratefully received service to the club. Welsh international defender James Collins was sold to Rangers for an initial fee of £1.6 million and a sell on clause was inserted in to the contract.

Friendlies

V Pirin (A) 10-7-07 1-0 Win
V Rodopa (A) 12-7-07 1-2 loss
V Levski (Sofia) (A) 15-7-07 0-0 Draw
V Burnley (A) 18-7-07 1-0 Win

So a mixed bag of results with 2 wins a draw and 1 loss

The Season Proper!

West Ham Vs Fulham – Saturday 18th August 2007

A local derby to kick the season but a crap game and a disappointing bore draw to start the new campaign

Final Score : West Ham 0 Fulham 0
Attendance :35481
Man Of The Match:John Pantsil (West Ham)

Sunderland Vs West Ham – Wednesday 22nd August 2007

A trip to the north east to face newly promoted Sunderland, and on this evidence it will be a short visit to the premiership for the Geordies. Carlton Cole grabbed a goal to open the scoring just before the half hour and the only surprise was that it took the visitors this long to score! An own goal in the second half finished the game off and saw the Irons running out 2-00 winners giving their loyal fans something to sing about on the long trek home

Final Score : Sunderland 0 West Ham 2
West Ham Scorers :Cole (28) Leadbitter (OG 62)
Attendance :35592

The New Season

Having avoided relegation it was nice to hear from our board that next years target would be exactly that, avoid relegation!
Although they showed this in the generosity of their transfer budget, a whooping 500k!

So this really meant one thing, we're gonna have to sell to buy, I dont mind that as my plan is to reduce the wage bill to
begin with anyway, too much dead wood in the team and we need to youngsters to liven things up.

So here are the ins and out

Transfers In

Robert Kovac - DC - Free
George Lucas - WBR/DR - Free
Wernbloom - DMC - 250k
Jesus Mendez - DMC 600k
Sinan Bolat - GK - 550k
Philipp Tschauner - GK - 55k
Marek Jankulovski Every where! - 1.7m
Halmosi - AM/DL - 170k

Transfers Out

Stubbs - Released - Earned too much and at the end of the road, just had to go
Richard Wright - Released - Once again, a whole load of nothing.
Simon Davies - Brought by Wolves for 2.2million, much needed cash.
Van der Meyde - Im glad his wages are off my bill! 300k in return as he moves across to Dave's Citeh
Naysmith - Signs for a dire 20k but with 50% sell on, I just wanted rid, he wasnt ever gonna play

There were also some youths released who just didnt make the grade im afraid!

Anyway, I was happy with my purchases and stretching the budget as far as I could, it has made us under budget in terms of Salary and we still have plenty of money in the bank meaning the club are not in debt anymore and hopefully moving into a new future!

The first game of the season came and went, the opener of the new league season was very mouth watering as we face Liverpool!

Everton vs Liverpool
It was the all known hero's who did the honours here and started the new season in great fashion with a win again our fierce rivals! Johnson and Beattie scored, although it was the 94th minute, a win is a win!
Everton 2 - 1 Liverpool

Reading vs Everton
Should have won this but I think its gonna be a season like West Ham had last year, consistenly inconsistent! Hleb scored a great free kick and we really should have won this game but they scored such a late goal it was unbelievable!
Reading 2 - 1 Everton

Everton vs Pompey (Steff)
We scored all 4 goals, yes it was an own goal from George Lucas, guess the force wasnt with him! But Pompey started out the brighter of the two sides but after a rapid increase of yellow cards for his players, one eventually saw red! That was all that was needed and the goals then came thick and fast. Cahill scored and the other two were by James Vaughan who bagged a brace having scored 3 goals in his first two England U21 matches.
Everton 3 - 1 Pompey

Everton vs Plymouth League Cup
No idea what went on in this game as I wasnt there but Kovac and Lescott did the honours and scored to take us to the next round!
Everton 2 - 0 Plymouth

Aston Villa vs Everton
Well the last lose another away game but again, the assistant was in charge so I couldnt tell you if it was a close game or not! But they didnt score enough to win is what I know for sure! Vela scored in this one.
Aston Villa 3 - 1 Everton

Everton vs Man Utd
We could have won this game but we're struggling to get a squad together, especially in the striker department, after only 10 minutes, our only two strikers were playing and ended up both injured, so that we then still managed to finish 2-2 against Utd was out of this world! Hleb and Jankulovski the scorers in this game.
Everton 2 - 2 Man Utd

Wolves vs Everton
I think I need a tactic for away games, although I dominated against the Wolves I just couldnt finish, we just cant afford to do that against these type of sides, a must win game that we didnt come away with maximum points.
Wolves 0 - 0 Everton

Everton vs Chelsea
After two minutes Torres scored for Chelsea, after this, if it wasnt for the fact that we had no strikers it could have been an Everton win, but Chelsea are top of the league and we made them work very hard for this win.
Everton 0 - 1 Chelsea

Newcastle vs Everton League Cup
We started so bloody well aswell here! I thought any second the ball would go in but no, a screamer from Emre saw the end of that, although Van Gaal has done wonders at Tyneside and they are now playing some great attacking football!
Newcastle 2 - 0 Everton

Newcastle vs Everton
After the cup game I just knew what was gonna happen, the exact repeat of the above funnily enough! A good start saw us fade away and they banged in two goals we could have prevented, back to the drawing board for away games for sure!
Newcastle 2 - 0 Everton

Well, we've faced some of the top teams already and after a steady 10th position we slowly slipping down the table towards our real home! We need to sort out the away tactic and hire some bodyguards for our strikeforce they just keep getting injured in matches by the opponents defenders! We really need Beattie back as that lack of aerial ability is showing, hopefully a turn around coming up!

The future of Everton looks better though! New players, new structured finances........is the managers job actually now done? Stay tuned to find out more......
