The Rossoneri Review
Milan’s still looking at climbing the table, and overcoming the 8 point deficit to top the league, while the knockout stage of the Champions league is also around the corner and Milan will be expected to progress!
Parma Vs Milan – Sunday 18th February 2007
An important game for Milan as they seek to claw back the points on the leaders Inter but despite dominating the game and Ronaldo scoring midway through the first half, Parma equalised immediately after the break and successfully defended throughout the remainder of the game and Milan left feeling they had lost 2 points rather than gained 1 :thdn:

Attendance : 28657
Man Of The Match: Ronaldo (Milan)

The business end of the tournament where mistakes will be punished, fortunately it was Olympiakos making the mistakes and Milan took full advantage with 2 goals from Oliveira and a penalty after Olympiakos had Julio Cesar sent off in injury time, duly converted by Massimo Oddo to give a precious 3away goals in a 3-0 victory

Milan Vs Messina – Wednesday 28th February 2007
An early goal for Messina looked ominous for Milan but the tables turn when Messina’s rough play was punished with a penalty after just 9 minutes which Yoann Gourcuff slotted home. Ivica Iliev was then sent off after 17 minutes and Messina were in a mess! Fabricio Coloccini put the Rossoneri ahead just after the half hour and he home side were coasting. Messina pressed the self destruct button with Luigi Levecchia dismissed 10 minutes from time and Ronaldo sealed the win minutes later to give the squad a morale boosting 3-1 win

Milan Vs Sampdoria – Sunday 4th March 2007
Christian Terlizzi got himself sent off midway through the first half and Sampdoria lost all their fight when the player left the field. Milan proceeded to dominate with Ronaldo calmly scoring from the resulting penalty and adding another from open play just before half time which was sufficient for the Milanese to run out convincing winners in a one sided game
Final Score : Milan 2 Sampdoria 0
Milan Scorers : Ronaldo(Pen 28, 42)
Attendance : 82928
Man Of The Match: Andrea Pirlo (Milan)
Milan Vs Olympiakos – Wednesday 7th March 2007 – Champions League1st Knockout Round Leg 2
Already ahead 3-0 from the first leg, Rouch warned his players not to be complacent in the home tie, and the team certainly took him at his word! Another penalty awarded to Milan gave them the opener on 19 minutes, giving Olympiakos a near impossible task of putting 4 goals past the Italians at home! 2 further goals in the second half from fat Ron put paid to any hopes the Greeks might have been harbouring and sent Milan through to the Quarter finals of the Champions League
Final Score : Milan 3 Olympiakos 0 (Milan win 6-0 on agg)
Milan Scorers : Oddo (Pen 19) Ronaldo (54, 83)
Attendance : 59245
Man Of The Match: Ronaldo (Milan)
So at the end of the session the achievements are that Milan are still sitting 3rd in the league, still to play Lazio in the Italian Cup Final and Valencia to play in the Champions League Quarter Final. One of only 2 clan managers to survive the Champions League, Esteban Browning of Barca being the other. More news soon
