February

The gunners started a great month with a great win over Blackburn. After they tore apart Newcastle 3-1. There was a slight blip as Readings Nickey Shorey scored a free-kick in the closing minutes to snatch a draw. Then Arsenal got one back on Chelsea after they knocked them out of the league cup with a 2-0 victory with Robin Van Persie and Theo Walcott scoring the goals either side of half time. Next a good draw against Inter at the San Siro set up a nail biting encounter for two weeks time at the Emirates. Arsenal ended the month on a high with the 1-0 victory over West Ham.

March

March started with a 0-0 bore draw against bitter north London rivals Tottenham. But then delight after Arsenal beat Inter 3-1 to set up a quarter-final tie against Lyon. In the FA cup quarter-finals Arsenal drew 1-1 with West Ham. But then they hammered five passed Manchester United. Robin Van Persie put Arsenal into the semi-finals of the FA cup with two goals. Arsenal ended the month on a low witha 3-0 loss to Liverpool

The Devils were desperate for a win to stay in the top, but couldn't deliver, the beginning of the month started off with a 1-2 loss against the Villans,United was able to qualify for the Qtr Finals after their 3-0 win over sporting Cp in the 2nd leg, thanks to Rooney(2) and Vidic finding the back of the net.United followed the 5-0 hammering by Arsenal with 2-0 win over Derby rivals Man city, when Cardenas scored a lovely curl shot from outside the box and Rooney.


April

April started off well with a 2-1 win over Porto, Devils were not lucky, as they conceeded a late away goal.(guzman scored twice, carrick once).United couldn't get their hopes up as they were crushed by Everton 3-1.United demolished rivals Bolton, when Double R and Jo scored once making the score 3-0.The 3-5 loss to Porto in the 2nd leg got United out of the Champions League, but the Devils tried their best to get one more goal in to guarantee them a spot in the semi finals, with the Devils out of all competitions except the Premeir League they knew they had to win. The 2-1 loss to Fulham put the Devils in 2nd place 3 points away from Arsenal.The Devils demolished the the Hornets 4-0 at Old Trafford. Arsenal also won their game keeping the 3 points in between them till the end of the month.

The most important month of the season for the Devils began a 2-0 win over Blackburn with the Double R each scoring a goal.The Devils were now tied with Arsenal, after their 2-1 loss to aston villa, with points(75) but were first in league due to goal difference.
The last match of the season, the match that will decide the champions.
United were going to St. James Park to play the Magpies.Jo scored an early goal in the 8th minute, no goals were scored again till the second half.Ameobi socre for Newcatle in the 47th minute, tying up the game.Ameobi scored his second goal of the game in the 59th minute. The Devils were losing 2-1, they were in search of the goal. Rooney came through for the team scoring in the 64th minute. the score was now 2-2. Rooney found the back of the net 2 more times in the 82nd and 85th minute making the score 4-2.
