Bristol Rovers Season 1 Report
Donovan Robertson first season in football management saw him guide his Bristol Rovers side to the league two playoffs. After a slow start, Rovers started to pick up at the final stage of the season going undefeated for the last seven league games. There was drama in the Rovers board room when Robertson secretly applied for a league 1 job in January which shocked both his fans and board. However Robertson apologised for his lack of loyalty and turned his Bristol season around. Into the playoffs, Bristol were beaten by Peterborough 5-4 on aggregate nearly taking the clash into extra time when Lambert pulled two back in leg 2. In the FA Cup, Donovan Robertson helped Bristol Rovers to a dream fa cup 3rd round clash at the Emirates against his childhood favourite club. Unfortunately Arsenal won 5-0!

Robertson Press Statement
"Well it was a good first season and I didnt expect to do as well as I did. This league was very difficult to adjust but I managed to get it right at the end. However I will be making big changes to this side. I felt I gave the boys a chance but some of them were not up to standard. The board have given me a nice transfer budget which will be good enough to bring in the quality needed for automatic promotion."
