It has been revealed today that Mansfield manager, Bill Dearden, has resigned.

Stags' chairman James Derry thought it was the right time for a change. Many candidates have been linked to the job but no one has replaced Mr. Dearden.

7th July 2006 - Shock Appointment At Field Mill

After the departure of Bill Dearden, Mansfield Town have appointed a complete unknown.

Scott Howarth, a former trolley collector at his local supermarket, has been given the job of managing the Stags.

During the press conference was said to be "delighted" at the chance of managing a team within the football league. He also mentioned that the club does have plenty of potential to be a promotion contender.

With no official experience within managing in the footballing world, except for a computer game, Howarth has really got a job on to win over the Stags' fans.

Robertson Named New Rovers Boss

Bristol Rovers have revealed to BBC Sport that Donovan Robertson will be managing Bristol Rovers ahead of the 2006/2007 season. Donovan Robertson gets his first job in football management after he impressed in the interview proccess. A board director at Bristol Rovers said "Donovan walked into the board room and revealed his plans. He was very ambitious and his aims wasn't at all unrealistic. The other managers might have had the qualifications for league two management but we felt Donovan was the gem in the pack." Donovan Robertson had a few words to say. "I am here at Bristol Rovers to get them up the leagues. Several managers use the league two to boost their profile but I don't fall into that track. I would love to say that I will get Bristol Rovers promoted this season but I would say a playoff place would be a more reasonable prediction. But I am sure that I wll get Bristol Rovers promoted by next season, once I get to grips with this league." When asked if he was going to be making any transactions, Donovan replied "I will be sticking with my current side. To tell the truth I have never seen a Bristol Rovers match so it would be unfair to start making changes. However by January, if I feel I need to bring in some players then I will then."

this is the best clan i have been in not only fm but other games to. every one of the lads are 100% committed to the clan and are all good lads. i really
think this clan will go on 4 a long time with members like we have keep it up lads. my team is peterboro we have had a rollercoster season but we now are getting it together and will hopefully be in the playoffs come may.i have just got leicester as my parent club and they have loaned me to good young lads and they have give us a boost i will write back soon to let peeps know how we have done.

Yes just copy & paste within the code tags have the message in full screen and then do a little realignment as what you see in your mesaage will be what is posted on screen.
