I never thought of hate 'till you mentioned it just now was just making sure I hadn't annoyed you all by not turning up for the past few games!

18th May 2008
we finally done it clinched 4th place in La Liga, after a run in that saw us lose to Espanyol and our rivals Sevilla, but yet we pipped them for a spot in the Champions league. of course the most pleasing result was the 3-2 win over Real Madrid.

The Manager attended the end of season forum and walked in to boooos, after his second season in charge who could blame them. The fans wanted blood and Savio had decided it was better to share! The whole of the first team sat to the right in silence in neat rows.

Savio “Before we start we the Management and playing staff would like to apologise for a dismal season, truly dismal. Yes I made mistakes and the players know they shoulder some of the blame for performances well below par.”

Fan (Shouts) “Too right you were pish from the word go”

Savio “That we can agree! But we were unlucky with injuries and red cards all season. Our best players could never get a settled run and the error of un-registering or first choice left back and goal-keeper from the January window by my assistant didn’t help.”

Fan (mumbles) “bloody armature hour”

Savio “Our case for defence is that we can come right back up next season”

Fan “Your defence, it’s like what most of our matches ended with – pointless! “

Savio “listen we are in this together, we will bounce back and have a few new faces coming in, Plus I aim to bring in a few quality loans to boost or squad further. All we ask is time”

Fans (mumble)

Savio “ Right we are not here for target practise, but myself and the team are willing to answer your questions, so raise your hands”

NEW PLAYERS

Halmosi, Péter | Debrecen
Óscar | Zaragoza
Zenden, Boudewijn | Liverpool
Elmer, Jonas | Chelsea
Tihinen, Hannu | Lens

The 2nd Coming....

After an enforced break from the game for 6 months, current FMO Manager Of The Year Stuart Reid returned to management taking over at Sevilla for the 2nd time in his long, distinguished managerial career.

A dream job for Reid, being at one of the clubs closest to his heart. Reid found a squad already bristling with young talent that would not need a massive rebuilding job in order to achieve the respectable league position requested by the board.

With stars like Dani Alves, Jesus Navas, Renato, Poulson, Adriano, Puerta and Fabiano still in the squad, Reid first set about securing the services of these players on long term deals. With this done, the task of finding some fresh blood to freshen up the squad began.

The first target was a player to make the fans sit up, take notice and get excited again. That man turned out to be Renato Augusto, a £6m buy from Flamengo and already being spoken about in the same breath as Ronaldinho. Big things are expected.

With a promising start to the season Sevilla found themselves exceeding all expectations holding 4th place. It quickly became apparent that the Sevilla forward line would need strengthening for challenges ahead. With very little transfer cash left to spend Reid set about searching for players who could be brought in for the new season on free transfers. The services of Victor Anichebe and Nicklas Bendtner were secured from Everton and Arsenal respectively and look to have the makings of potential Sevilla legends.

A difficult close to the season meant a final position of 7th was secured. Reid was satisfied with this in his first season back at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, but will be expecting better next season.

European qualification for the UEFA Cup was secured via the fair play league (back door), and Reid also was unexpectedly awarded the Spanish Manager of the Year prize.

The main point being, I won a match

Anyway I’m confident that you lot will not give him an easy ride, just a pity Nuke missed most of the transfer window.
