The original game is working fine must be the packed one that’s guff, I’ll re-do it after tonight.

Thing was on for an hour as well doing it twice.......

Tonerinho resigns as Elche manager

Elche chairman Jamie Perez also insisted Tonerinho had assured him he did not have another job lined up.

Perez said: "I asked him a straightforward question: 'Have you been tapped up by another club?'

"And his answer was: 'On my children's lives I have not been approached by another club. I love it at Elche and I am sorry to be resigning. But I feel for the benefit of the club, the players and the fans it is something I must do'."

"I could feel it, I could see it coming since Christmas. I have seen Gaz's smile deteriorate, and he needs a change of scenary."

Tonerinho added: "I have given everything I have as a person to bringing success here over the past six years.

"It is not an easy thing to walk away from somewhere and something which has been such a part of your life for so long.

"The intensity of football at the highest level, although completely addictive, is also draining.

"I feel I would be kidding the chairman, my players and the supporters if I was to carry on without being able to put in the energy and dedication I know is required to be successful at this level."

Tonerinho guided Elche to the Segunda B3 title in 2013-14 and in 2014-15 they finished Champions in the Segunda to reach the top flight.

Under Tonerinho, Elche surprised many pundits by surviving comfortably in their first season, finishing 10th. However it was to be Elche's 2nd season in La Liga that would cement Tonerinho's legacy when the club finished 7th and claimed a UEFA cup spot. The Following season Elche made waves in Europe getting all the way to the Uefa Cup Semi's before being knocked out by fellow La Liga side Atletico Madrid.

However it was to be this season that was his downfall. As Elche lost a few key players and they were substitued by lacklustre signings. Rumours of rifts in the camp and bad form it was becoming clear a problem was devolping and maybe a change would be best for both camps.


Perez revealed that Tonerinho's happiness had deteriorated in the last couple of months during a turbulant season.

And he added: "It was with great reluctance that I accepted Gaz's resignation.

"It was his decision to leave. I believe Gaz was the right man to carry this club forward.

"But he has decided that he has taken the club as far as he can and leave it for someone else to take over.

"I have to respect his decision because what Gaz has done for this club is extraordinary."

Sorry about that last night lads, CPU Fan now sitting sweet at 3000+ RPM due to a good clean and Q-fan disabled which was causing it to spool down…...

I’ll upload the game again and hope it works later….as I know some were wanting to have a good look and scout!
