Not sure what you mean, I think thats the right router that you use. Did you use that link to set up your router?

If you look at the first post in this thread it will tell you to go to portforward.com and then configure your router from there.

I've got the good people portion of the equation covered. I've been gaming with these guys for over 2 years now and they are very reliable.

Would anyone be willing to provide a general set of rules for me to review?

Thanks again.
If you use the clan thread finder (sticky thread at the top of the forum) then you can look at the clans that are currently active within the community, most clans these days also have a website where they also display their rules, just check them out, take what you think suits your game and you got your set of rules!

Me and a friend started a game over a local network last night, but now when we come back to the game neither of us are active in the game. When I join the sever from the 2nd PC, neither of us can resume managing our old clubs, instead it says there is a new (unemployed) user.

Basically, how do we continue the game as our respective teams?!

Sorry I should add to that post, we are inactive as far as our old teams are concerned, but now there is a "new network client", while the previous 2 managers status remains as "not connected"

Any help greatly appreciated

Please help, I have been trying to set up an online game for me and my mate and can't seem to even take a step forward.

Operating system? Windows XP Home
Service packs installed? All of them
Net connection? Broadband 2MB
ISP? AOL
Router involved? Yes Netgear DG834G v3
Anti virus software? AVG Free Edition
Firewall software? Macfee

I have tried to set up my router myself got annoyed and ended up buying the Portforward software - it says that my router has been programmed for FM 2006 (I know that this is ok for 2007). I have tried with the firewall both on and off even though it asked for permission and I granted FM access. My friend has exactly the same set up as me from top to bottom so any advice will help us both. I have thought about reloading the game from scratch but....

I do have my old DSL modem that I could reinstall just seems a little daft having to do that and to be honest not sure that would work - Help before the PC gets done with the hammer!!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have got ADSL internet and I am keen to start an online game. But I have a one gig bandwidth cap on my ADSL. My question is, how much bandwidth would playing this game online use, if I played about 5 hours a week?
