Most of the training, shortlists, tactics can be imported from your own games and transferred over to the online game.

To run a successful clan you got to have a group of guys who all get on, are reiable etc. Do not get too many at first. I would experiment with three or four players to begin with and then add when you know the players are reliable.

Have set times for playing and days where all can play. Most clans usually play twice a week or sometimes three times a week or more.

A set of rules can be drawn to help aid the running of your clan.

I would set up the game on the person with a good, stable internet connection with good upload speed and with a pile of ram. I think macs and PCs can play at the same time.

Ok i have another problem

Trying to host a network game and have set up the router to port forward but my mate still can't connect

I have Windows XP Home Service Pack 2
Net Connection: ADSL
ISP: WestNet
Router involved: D-Link DSL-G604T/AU V.A3
Anti-Virus: NOD (but exited it & still won't work)
Firewall Software: Windows firewall (but turned off)

any advice would be good

btw it tells my mate: Unable to Connect to Server
Also we have both been able to connect to another mates game just not mine

Thanks for the reply Andy.

I've got the good people portion of the equation covered. I've been gaming with these guys for over 2 years now and they are very reliable.

Would anyone be willing to provide a general set of rules for me to review?

Thanks again.

I did have some trouble connecting to Hamachi earlier so guess this could be the problem? The only other change i can think off since last week was downloading IE7, would this have any effect on the network settings? Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks.
Please, has anyone got any ideas? We have now tried two nights to solve this issue and nothing is working....basically when any of us hosts a game using Hamachi only one other person can connect. The other person gets Unable to Connect to Server.

just a quick question.

Does everyone in an online game need to be running the same version (with the patch or without)?

Thanks
