Monday's session started away to Boston. As it turned out we would have been better staying at home. Lowndes gave us an early lead, but that was as good as it got. 2 quick goals from Boston saw us 2-1 down at half time. Second half was a shambles as we conceded another 4 to lose 6-1. We looked to bounce back at home to Wrexham. Another poor performance saw us lose 2-1 in an even game.

Another home game followed when Stockport visited. This was a much improved performance. A first half double from Craddock, an Easton pen & an own goal gave us a comfortable 4-1 win. It was FA Cup action next when we played Hartlepool at home. We put up a good fight in a very even game. Unfortunately it was not enough and we lost 3-2, with our goals coming from Chambers & Sheringham.

Back to League duty and we travelled to Notts County. We went behind early on before Lowndes equalised with our only shot on goal in the first half. A much improved second half performance saw us sneak the win thanks to Craddock. Oldham at home was next. A poor game as settled in our favour with an early goal from Craddock.

This left us in 2nd place, 3 points from 1st and 2 clear of 3rd, after 19 games.

The first game of Thursday's session saw us travel to Bury. We totally outplayed them in the first half scoring just before half time through Echanomi. The second half was similar with Bury being reduced to 9 men. This meant we were able to stroll to a 1-0 win. Barnet at home was the next game. Another solid performance saw us win 1-0 again thanks to a goal from Craddock.

We travelled to Chesterfield as league leaders. We conceded 2 penalties in the first 16 minutes that Chesterfield converted. We let in another one just before half time to make it 3-0. Chambers pulled one back 5 minutes after the break. We conceded another late on to make it 4-1, another shocking performance out of nowhere. We looked to bounce back at home to Northampton. A very even game was decided in our favour with a Craddock goal 11 minutes from time.

It was another home game next against Lincoln. A sensational first half performance saw us 3-0 up at half time thanks to a Craddock double and one from Lockwood. We cruised through the second half, especially after Lincoln were reduced to 10 men, to a fine 3-0 win. We travelled to second placed Darlington next. A brilliant first half performance saw us 2-0 up at half time thanks to Lockwood & Craddock. We managed to hold on in a pretty even second half to run out 2-0 winners.

It was the absent Taz's Stevenage away next. An entertaining first half saw us go 2 down after 4 minutes. Then Lowndes pulled one back before Chambers equalised. The second half Lowndes gave us the lead after 56 minutes. We only managed to hold on for 11 minutes before Stevenage equalised. Both sides had chances for the win but couldn't take them. A draw was probably a fair result. Grimsby were the next visitors. This was the original game of two halves. We were brilliant in the first half going in 2-0 up thanks to Craddock & Lowndes. The second half was a different story. We played poorly and paid the price as Grimsby scored twice to snatch a point.

This was a good session for my Orient side. We turned a 3 point deficit to 1st place into an eight point lead after 27 games.

Monday's session saw us start at home to Shrewsbury. We took the lead mid way through the first half as Craddock scored again. Into the second half and things remained very even. Unfortunately Shrewsbury equalised with just under 20 minutes to go. We couldn't manage to grab a winner and had to settle for a point. We travelled to Chester next. We had a shocker and were soundly beaten 2-1 with Lowndes grabbing a late consolation.

Another poor performance at home to Mansfield saw us draw 0-0. Peterborough at home was the next game as we looked to get back on track. A much improved performance saw us dominate from start to finish. We eventually took the lead in the second half thanks to Craddock. We were unlucky not to score again, but comfortably held on for a 1-0 win.

We travelled to Accrington next. This was a shocking performance. We were 3-0 down inside half an hour and never looked like getting back into it. We stemmed the flow in the second half but conceded another late on to make it 4-0. If our form doesn't improve soon we can kiss promotion good bye.

The second of three consecutive away games saw us travel to Rochdale looking to get back to winning ways. It wasn't to be and another poor performance saw us lose 1-0. The final away game in this run was MK Dons, who had just passed us for top spot. We struggled again and lost 2-1 with Craddock scoring ours. We are now 4 points behind top.

Toon's Wycombe were next to visit. An improved performance saw us win 2-1 thanks to Craddock & Chambers. We looked to build on this away to Weymouth. Another solid performance saw us win 2-0 thanks to a second half double from Craddock. It was Torquay at home next. We took the lead after 60 seconds thanks to Craddock. Torquay equalised shortly before half time. We had the better of the second half but couldn't manage to find a winner.

An away day in Stockport followed. This game followed a similar patter to several others tonight. We took the lead thanks to Sheringham only for Stockport to equalise 3 minutes later. Both sides had chances to win in the second half but couldn't take any of them. This all left us in 2nd place 1 point behind 1st with 8 games to go. The next session has to be better as this one was awful.

We started Thursday's session by playing Boston at home. The first half was pretty much a non event. The second half was a goals fest. Boston took the lead before goals from Miller, Sheringham & Gyaki put us 3-1 up. Boston pulled one back before Woods sealed a fine 4-2 win. It was Wrexham away next. Wrexham took the lead at the half hour mark just before Nallis was sent off. Craddock equalised shortly into the second half. It was looking as if we would escape with a draw when Wrexham scored in stoppage time to win it 2-1.

It was a top of the table clash when Notts County came to town. This was always likely to be a tight game and so it turned out. Neither side created many chances and it finished 0-0. We travelled to Oldham next. This was another very tight game which was settled in our favour when Lowndes scored just after the hour mark. Bury were the visitors for the next game. We made a bright start and took the lead just after the half hour mark with a wonderful free kick from Miller. We dominated the second half but couldn't find a second and had to settle for a 1-0 win. This win secured us a play off spot.

We went to Barnet knowing that a win for us could secure promotion. We took the lead midway through the first half thanks to Chambers. Craddock doubled our advantage shortly after the restart. We held on to win 2-0 in a poor match. This secured our return to League One. We played host to Chesterfield in our last home game of the season. Gyaki gave us the lead midway through the first half. Chesterfield equalised with 15 minutes to go. Then just when it looked as if the title would need to wait until the final game of the season Sheringham scored with 4 minutes to go. A tremendous effort from all the players which made up for the disappointment of the previous season.

The final game of the season away to Northampton now didn't matter. It showed in the performance as we never got started and lost 2-0. It failed to take the shine off a great season.

Scenes at the final game of Stevanage's season were grim...

After the stunning first half of the season placing Stevenage at 3rd place of the table, and the managers intentions of the 3-year plan for back to back promotions to the premiership, promotion was looking like a certainty. This being a measure of Taz's success for a team rpedicted to finish bottom of the league at the beggining of the season. And then came the horrifying streak of games in which Stevenage could only take a shocking 2 wins out of 15 games, this left them on the brink of the playoff positions right up until the final game in which they had to ensure they won and still relied upon 2 teams not winning. As the 2 results went their way Stevenage headed into their match full of confidence only to be stopped by a 70th minute equaliser that went against the whole game.

In a statement made to the press, Stevenage Manager, Taz explained that 'Due to financial restrictions imposed on the club from the start of the season, Southends £325K bid for George Boyd had to be accepted, this move consequently lead to the loss of a crucial player at a key moment leading to the dramatic upturn in form, he promises the fans that the back-to-back promotions will be back on track from this season as the club has gone a long way in securing it's financial integrity'.

With some high quality signings already being announced by the club, pundits are already stating that the the quality of the team is immensely improved and this is a frightening prospect for a team managed by one of the most highly rated young managers in the proffesion.

Its been a while since my last past, basically I finished the first season in 7th 2 points out of the playoffs, I made a lot of changes for last season which may have contributed to a slow start, but a mid season fantastic run of form left me in 3rd only 2 points off the lead with 9 games left but in the them games we only took 2 points and ended up finishing mid table. During the end of season transfer window I had to sell my star play as his contract was going to run out but I still managed to get over £400k for him and along with the sale of a player in January for over £1mil we had a good transfer budget for this season but we already have a massive squad so up to the now I have spent about £400k on about 5 players which is a considerable amount for a team like Yeovil. We have played 2 games of the season so far the 1st game we came back from 2 nil down to win 5-2 against Bradford a unbelievable comeback and in the second game we got a 0-0 draw away from home, so a good start to the season I just hope it continues.

The new season saw us start away to Mark's MK Dons. With several new signings in the side, including 3 loan players, anything could happen. We went behind after 3 minutes. Fagan, on loan from Man U, equalised 5 minutes later. We dominated the rest of the half without scoring. That changed at the start of the second half when Miller put us ahead. 15 minutes later Foxe scored a peach of a free kick to put the game beyond doubt. This was a fine 3-1 win to start the season.

Our first home game of the season saw us play host to Brighton. Craddock gave us the lead midway through the first half before Brighton equalised 10 minutes later. Just as it looked as if it would be level at half time, Gyaki scored a screamer from a corner cut back to him at the edge of the area. The second half was fairly even and we held on for a 2-1 win.

We travelled to David's Yeovil next. This was a very even game. A Foxe free kick in the first half was enough to give us a 1-0 win. We played host to Huddersfield at home in the next game when the scored in stoppage time.

It was League Cup duty when we travelled to Cardiff. We gave a really good account of ourselves. The game was very even with both sides having chances in normal time. 7 minutes from the end of extra time I thought we had won it when Craddock scored. It didn't last as Cardiff equalised 3 minutes later. We eventually lost 3-1 on penalties.

Back to league duty and we had a shocker away to Brentford. We got hammered 3-0 as Simmonds scored a hat trick for Brentford. This was followed with 1-1 draws at home to Forest & away to Bradford and a 0-0 at home to Sheff Wednesday. The sequence of draws was broken with a thumping 3-0 against Bournemouth win with a double from Fagan and one from Craddock.

We followed this up with another 2 1-1 draws away to Blackpool, when Chambers scored, and at home to Southend, when Yeates scored. We finished the night with back to back 1-0 loses away to Burnely and at home to Tranmere. We played well in both of these games and were unlucky to lose.

This was a solid start to the season and left us in 13th place after 13 games. If we continue to play like this we should stay up ok, and if we can start to score some goals a play off place is not out of the question.

a shakey start to the season for the dons leaves us in about 7th position ill be looking for a keeper and a striker in jan with all my budget still to spend things look rosier after january transfer window opens mcleod is no where near firing yet and will look to give him a kick up the arse to get him to brighten up in the second half of the season as his goals could be the key factor between consolidation and promotion for the second year running

Monday's session saw us start away to Cheltenham. We turned in the performance of the season so far. A Craddock double and one from Ramirez on debut had us 3-1 up. Cheltenham pulled one back before half time. Easton added a fourth before Ramirez got his second of the game. A late own goal made the final score 6-1. We were away to 2nd placed QPR next. We went behind early on before Foxe scored a free kick on the half hour mark. It looked as if we would come away with a point before QPR scored in stoppage time to win 2-1.

Notts County were our next visitors. We dominated this game from start to finish but couldn't score. County had 1 shot on goal and won 1-0. We played host to league leaders Swansea next. The first half was pretty even and we went in level. The second half was heading the same way until we got a penalty with just over 10 minutes to go. Easton converted it and an own goal 3 minutes later put us 2-0 up. Easton converted a second penalty in stoppage time to make it 3-0.

We followed this up with a 1-1 draw away to Gillingham with Chambers getting the goal. We were lucky to get a draw as Gillingham had all the chances. It was JPT duty next as we travelled to Swindon. We played really poorly and were knocked out 1-0. Back to league duty when we played Doncaster at home. We turned in another unacceptable performance and lost 2-0.

FA Cup was next when we played Gillingham away. An improved performance saw us sneak through 2-1 thanks to goals from Gyaki & Chambers. The final game of the session saw us travel to Oldham. This was a good performance to end the night. Goals from Grimes & Ramirez saw us to a comfortable 2-0 win.

Thursday's session saw us start at home to Swindon. We got an early penalty which Easton missed. The rest of the first half was pretty even. Unfortunately Swindon took the lead on the stroke of half time. Ramirez equalised 5 minutes into the second half. Swindon then scored the winner with 20 minutes to go. We played well again, but we are still struggling to score.

It was FA Cup duty with non league Mansfield the opposition. This was an easy win for us. Goals from Ramirez (2), Craddock and an own goal put us 4-0 up at half time. A second own goal in the second half made the final score 5-0. It was back to league business when we travelled to Carlisle. We went behind midway through the first half. Yeates equalised in stoppage time at the end of the first half. van den Berg scored on the hour mark. Both sides had chances to score but we held on to win 2-1.

Stan brought his MK Dons to our place next. We got off to a poor start and we were 2-0 down at half time. We were given a lifeline when Easton converted a pen before MK Dons scored a third to put the game beyond doubt. We looked to bounce back away to Brighton. Ramirez gave us the lead after 7 minutes. Brighton equalised after half an hour before taking the lead shortly before the hour mark. We never looked like scoring again and lost 2-1.

It was a home game with Port Vale next. This was a really poor game that was decided in our favour by an own goal on half time. Another home game followed when David brought his Yeovil side to Brisbane Road. We played really well in this game, We took the lead from the spot when Martin converted. Yeovil equalised with 25 minutes to go with their only shot of the game. We pushed for a winner, and even had a goal disallowed, but we couldn't find it.

We travelled to Fulham in the FA Cup hoping for a good showing. We managed to hold Fulham until into the second half. We went all out attack after Fulham scored but couldn't manage to grab an equaliser. It means we can now focus on our main priority - survival. We are currently 16th after 26 games, 7 clear of the relegation places.
