We started Monday's session with a must win game away to Oldham, one of only 2 teams below us. We started well when Ibehre gave us the lead after 8 minutes. It then went all wrong as we lost 2 goals in 16 minutes to go in behind at half time. The second half was fairly even and Chambers pulled one back. We couldn't find an equaliser and lost 3-2. It was Forest at home next. This was a pretty even game. A goal for Forest on half time proved to be the winner as we slip closer to relegation.

We travelled to Iritza's Bradford as we looked to end our run of 12 games without a win. This game followed the pattern of most others this season. We never looked like scoring and lost 2-0. We played host to Tranmere who were just outside the drop zone. We played well in the first half but couldn't take any of the chances we created. That all changed in the second half. Echanomi broke his goal drought to give us the lead f minutes after the break. Chambers sealed the win with 10 minutes to go. It came at a cost as we lost 3 players during the game to injury.

We looked to build on this as we travelled to Swansea. It was not to be as we got hammered 3-0. Cheltenham were our next visitors. We played really well in the first half and went in 1-0 up thanks to Echanomi. The second half was a disaster. Cheltenham equalised with a penalty before scoring the winner in the 89th minute. We need to make up 6 points on 20th in 5 games.

Another defeat at home to Bristol City meant we were really up against it. It was a must win game next as we travelled to Crewe, the first team outside the drop zone. An even first half saw us go behind before Cadamarteri equalised. Both sides had chances to win in the second half but couldn't take them. It meant we were 6 points from safety with 3 games left.

It was Chesterfield away that eventually sent us down, and it summed up the season. We took the lead before conceding an equaliser before half time. We lost a goal on the hour mark and never looked like scoring an equaliser and lost 2-1.

The last games of the season saw us play 2 human managers. First up we were at home to promotion chasing Yeovil, managed by David Harrop. We turned in one of the best performances of the season. Yeovil opened the scoring before we equalised with a peach of an own goal. Miller then gave us the lead before Yeovil equalised in stoppage time. Schanomi scored early in the second half to give us a fine 3-2 win and dent Yeovil's promotion chances. We finished away to the other David's Doncaster. A spirited performance saw us fight back to snatch a draw with a goal from Craddock.

This meant we finished in 23rd, one place below the media prediction, and 7 points from safety.

As the newly stated manager of Stevenage Borough my task, as outlined in a board room meeting, was to bravely fight off the prospect of non-league football next season. Following a fruitful pre-season spent with my squad, I have expanded on these targets and set the team the target of automatic promotion for this season. With the signings of top class players such as Claus Jorgensen, Nathan Joynes, Michael Proctor, Marc Bridge-Wilikinson and others I have transformed the team into a far more abled group of individuals and it was time for the first league game of the season.

At home to Accrington Stanley, was to be a defining game in what supporters of Stevenage FC were to expect in the future, a 5-0 mauling as Bridge-Wilkinson and fellow newboy Sam Cox from Reading performed an act that could only be described as the rape and pillaging of an inferior defence. Things looked bright and I arranged an urgent meeting in the board room to announce the arrival of The 3 year plan. To put it bluntly, I had nonchalantly announced that getting Stevenage Borough to the premiership in 3 straight years was well within my ability.

Taz

[B]Clan Notice: I will probably be able to create banners for the clan by Mondays session however I do not promise that they'll be of pleasing quality. If you would like to create your own feel free however I thought it would be good to keep them all a uniform size so I'm arrogantly setting the size at 100x500, if you have any problems with that, tough. No seriously just make suggestions if that isn't small/large enough and I'll change mine to meet the new size requirement.

Peace.

The close season saw many changes at Orient with 8 players leaving and 8 coming in. Those coming in for experience included Teddy Sheringhma & Lilian Nalis, while youth was in the shape of Adam Pettigrew & Ashley Grimes.

The first game of the season saw us travel to Lincoln. We went behind to an early goal before Cadamarteri equalised on the stroke of half time. The second half was very even with both sides having chances to win. Deep into stoppage time Sheringham popped up to grab the winner, to make it 2-1.

Our first home game saw Taz bring his Stevenage side to Brisbane Road. A fairly even first half saw Stevenage take an early lead. Both sides had half chances but no clear cut chances for the rest of the half. Into the second half, and a quick fire double from Stevenage put the game beyond reach. Another late on made it 4-0. There was not as much of a difference between the sides as the scoreline suggested, simply superior finishing.

We looked to bounce back away to Grimsby. Grimsby dominated the first half, but thanks to some inspired goal keeping it was still 0-0 at half time. The second half followed the same pattern as the first. Then Echanomi scored to give us a lucky 1-0 win.

A 0-0 draw at home to Darlington followed, which was a decent result as they had the best of the game. It was League Cup duty next when Ispswich came calling. We put up a decent fight with goals from Chambers & Gyaki in a 4-2 defeat.

We finished Monday's session with Shrewsbury away. A fairly dull first half saw us take the lead just before half time through Echanomi. It looked as if we were going to hold on for all 3 points until Shrewsbury equalised with 4 minutes left.

This left us 10th after 5 games, with 8 points.

Come and get your banners, 1 for the price of 2...

Apologies for the frankly awful quality of most of them.

We started Thursday's session at home to Chester. We were sensational in the first half. 2 goals from Echanomi either side of a goal from Lowndes on his debut had us 3-0 up at half time. The second half was pretty much a non event apart from Foxe getting sent off late on and we ran out comfortable 3-0 winners.

A 1-1 draw away to Mansfield followed in a pretty even game with Grimes equalising for us. We faced Mark's MK Dons next at Brisbane Road. We made a good start and took the lead after 25 minutes thanks to Echanomi. We were playing them off the park and it looked as if we would extend the lead when MK Dons equalised with 25 minutes to go. Just when it looked as if we would draw another game Gyaki scored in injury time to give us a 2-1 win.

We travelled to Peterborough next. We went behind early and played really poorly in the first half. In fact, we were lucky to get in at only 1 down. The second half was a different story. A quick fire double from Lowndes put us 2-1 up. Peterborough were then reduced to 9 men which allowed us to hold on for a 2-1 win.

Accrington were the next visitors. We played poorly for the whole game. It was looking like another draw until Easton scored a screamer in stoppage time to steal the win. We visited toon's Wycombe next. We played well dominating the game, but we were let down by poor finishing again. Even after Wycombe were reduced to 10 men we couldn't find a way to goal and it ended in stalemate.

We played host to Weymouth next. A good performance saw us win 2-0 thanks to goals from Echanomi & Fordyce. It was Torquay away next. A poor first half saw us go in 1-0 down. A fantastic effort in the second half saw us turn it around thanks to goals from Barnard and Lockwood.

It was JPT duty next when Mark brought MK Dons to Brisbane Road. A dismal first half saw us go 3-0 down before Chambers pulled one back to make it 3-1 at half time. MK Dons were reduced to 10 men with 25 minutes to go. Lockwood pulled another back with 2 minutes to go but we couldn't find an equaliser.

This left us in 3rd place, 1 point off top spot, after 14 games.

Started off playing naff football and started to fall down the league and ended up bottom, I then changed my tactics to a 352 and we got a really encouraging draw against Swindon in the JPT, only to go out on pens. Ground a draw out against Al, and then next game against Stan got into a 2-0 lead, only to conced a goal about 70 mins in and then have his mk dons camp out in my half trying to get an equaliser, but we held on, we then beat Weymouth in the last game of the night.

Hopefully this fine little run we're on can continue on Monday. The only worry I have at the minute is discipline, I seem to have a man sent off every game, particularly Keigan Parker who is bloody good on his day, but a hot head as he has been sent of twice already this season and we're not even halfway through.

Due to problems adjusting to the english climate, I had to take a leave of absence to go back to my homeland to just settle my homesickness. Third world technology has stopped me from recieving any updates on how Stevenage did in my 6 (or thereabouts) game absence. I left the team comfortably top and on a great run so anything less than top 2 and there will be sackings on the way.

A bad run of form in recent weeks has left Stevenage in 3rd position. With major signings due in January, the manager has stated that he would be happy if Stevenage were still in contention for the title come the 1st January as he has every confidence the signings og Darren Currie amongst others are exactly what the team has been missing.
