There aren't really any laws uniform across different states besides the 21 years old limit. Different states have their own rules. I don't know what South Carolina's are like.

tbh, most places are going to be pretty strict about serving alcohol to anybody under 21. Your best bet would be to charm somebody with your accent, and get them to buy the drinks for you.
