Based upon Kipfizh's 'The Bandits', and partly inspired by CanaryLawn, I have placed a club called Norfolk Enchants in the Conference South in place of Bognor Regis Town.
Conditions
- The manager in charge, and his backroom staff, are unheard of super-staff, with 200 CA and PA, with high loyalty. However, they have low reputations to try and stop them being poached by bigger clubs. The contracts of these staff expire in July 2010. Created staff were MANAGER, ASSISTANT MANAGER, COACH 1, COACH 2, PHYSIO and SCOUT.
- Two 16-year-old players for each position with 1 CA and 200 PA have been put into the squad, along with an extra player for each of the defence and midfield, who can play left, right and centre. These players contracts' expire in June 2008.
- One special player, CRAIG WILLIAMS, is to be created. He has 150 CA and 200 PA, and is also only 16-years-old. He is a striker, and has no reputation. His contract expires in July 2011.
- Fourteen 30-year-old players with 70 CA and 90 PA have been put into the squad. These contracts expire in July 2009.
- Four youngsters are going to be given the same stats, but with a twist. They have 20 for injury-proneness.
- EVERY player has mental stats of 20 for everything, apart from 5 for ambition and 1 for controversy.
- All players have prefered job as manager so as to increase their chances of going into management after they retire.
- All young players contracts are set to expire in summer 2011, and all old players contracts are set to expire in summer 2009.
- The club will start the game with no money, and a reputation of 1000
- Youth setup and training are both set at 20
- Stadium holds 30000 fans
- The game will be run with England only on a large database.
- Updates will come at the end of every season.
Aims
To see if awful (but potentially brilliant) players can develop in the lower leagues, in the care of a fantastic manager and great facilities.
To see how long it takes the staff's reputation to rise to their deserved standard.
To see if a good manager can develop older players who still haven't reached their peak.
To see if a top class scout can find top talents for lower leagues (bearing in mind a low transfer budget) to help the side.
To see the effects of an injury prone career in the CA the players will reach.
Notes
The squad personality is described as 'Ultra Professional' due to every player having 20 for professionalism.
The club is worth £6.25M, probably because of the stadium and training facilities.
The chairman 'loves the club', and they have 'obscure' reputation.
They are expected to come 13th in the league by the media.
Craig Williams is wanted by 11 Premiership clubs, but no other player is wanted.
Upon start, Chris Curle had been randomly added to the staff as a coach. He has a regional reputation, is 31 years old, and has a CA and PA of 71.
All CAs and PAs remained the same upon the start of the game, apart from Old Striker 1. His CA dropped from 70 to 35, but bizzarely is the highest valued player in the squad.
More to follow after the Conference South adventure. Do not hesitate to ask questions
Is a really good idea for an experiment. Think the manager reputation will rise quickly though and he will leave a bit too soon to bring success. And i suspect, the club will loose Craig Gordan before the start of the season.
looks like williams will be out the door soon, 11 clubs already is pretty impressive... should eb a good read this, looking forward to it... and great choice of team name!!
Did you make any alterations to the tactical attributes for your manager? I have a feeling that the tactical attributes for a manager are in many ways far more important to the success of the team they manage than the attributes linked to ability (which include a whole lot of not-very-important coaching stats)
Predictions:
1) Craig Williams and your 30 year olds will absolutely massacre the opposition in Conference South. On the strength of these performances, Manager will probably get a better job offer
2) Craig Williams will leave before the beginning of the second season
3) At least one of your potential superplayers will retire young after being released and failing to find a new club.

When creating the manager, I left the stats on 0 (random) but made him have 200 CA, and the computer will generate his stats accordingly.
Most are 19s or 20s, but some are lower.
You'll see your predictions will be answered soon enough, I'm looking at getting an update ready for tonight

Actually, I feel that pretty much all of the high-potential youngsters will have all the big clubs after them, and they'll all be in the Premiership within the next season or two.
The Enchants got off to the best possible start to life in football by winning all six of their pre season friendlies, all against opposition in the Conference North/South. During July, no players or staff came or went, and surprisingly Craig Williams was also still at the club. However, despite a positive July, August was not as good. The Enchants only managed one win in their first six games and were struggling in 17th place. Also, Craig Williams was sold on a free to Liverpool, the deal including 30% of his next sale. He was replaced by The Enchants’ first ‘real’ player, Stephen Thompson. 18-year-old Thompson, a striker, has a CA of 27 and a PA of just 40, so doesn’t look the most astute of signings.
After a slow start, at the turn of the year The Enchants found themselves two points of the play-offs, but out of both the FA Cup and the FA Trophy after losing to Conference side Rushden & Diamonds in both. By March, The Enchants had gelled as a unit much better, and were 3rd in the league. Unfortunately, Sutton Utd were already ahead by a massive 24 points of second, so it looked like they would have to settle for the playoffs. However, it wasn’t going to be easy. By the time Sutton Utd had won the league, with seven games left, nine teams were playing for four slots in the playoffs, and The Enchants form had dipped.
With one game left, and only two playoff place remaining, The Enchants were in fifth, scrapping with Newport County, Eastbourne Boro and Bishop’s Stortford. The Enchants had to play Fisher at home, who were battling against relegation. In a match they would have expected to win, Old Centre Back 2 got sent off and Fisher won 1-0, with a single goal from Jon Healy. Despite having 17 shots, The Enchants couldn’t score, and finished 7th, meaning another year in the Conference South is to follow.
