A lot of people belive that Chelsea would not be doing as well in the league if they hadn't of had Abramovic's investment. There are most proberbly right.
After some ridiclously ridiclous spending, Roman's "bottomless pit" of money has reached it's bottom, and Abramovic has left with a relativly small amount of money for Russia. The club have been bought by a lifelong Chelsea fan. However, this fan has a bank balance of £5,000.23. This was increased by selling the stadium and trainging facilites. Mourinho has cleared off to Barcalona, the players who were only there for the money have left, Drogba has followed, Mourinho to Spain but signed for Real, and the chairman has appointed his mate as manager...
In the mean time, Watford have changed their name to "Old Legends" to honour Alec Chamberlain. Adie Boothroyd has registered himself to play for them. Boothroyd then released all players aged under 35, except for one who wished to remain as a couch, and appointed most of the staff as player-coaches. Alessandro Costacurta and Pablo Maldini have also signed from Milan.
The aim: With the new Chelsea squad and a budget of £1000, win the world club championship in 5 years
OR
With the Old Legends, win the premiership. It doesn't matter how long it takes you.
Rules:
1. No editing EXCEPT you may release players who play for other clubs if they are over 40 eg Dennis Wise.
2. If I have reason to suspect that you have edited in any other way, or added mangers for teams other than Chelsea or Old Legends, you will be banned.
3. You may not use the genie scout.
4. Old Legends are banned from signing or loaning players under 35. Therefore, if you are doing the Old Legends challenge then you MUST post a screenshot of players in and loans in every year.
Leagues: Premiership and Championship, plus optional others.
Other details:
A lot of the players that left Chelsea have £5 million by-back clauses. When you have enough money, get them back on the cheap.
Old Legends will be benefitted by the Olypics... sort of.
