 AI experiment---Poor Chelsea and Old Legends
This will run along side the challenge of the same name. Here's the idea:
A lot of people belive that Chelsea would not be doing as well in the league if they hadn't of had Abramovic's investment. There are most proberbly right.
After some ridiclously ridiclous spending, Roman's "bottomless pit" of money has reached it's bottom, and Abramovic has left with a relativly small amount of money for Russia. The club have been bought by a lifelong Chelsea fan. However, this fan has a bank balance of £5,000.23. This was increased by selling the stadium and trainging facilites. Mourinho has cleared off to Barcalona, the players who were only there for the money have left hating the club, Drogba has followed, Mourinho to Spain but signed for Real, and the chairman has appointed his mate as manager...
In the mean time, Watford have changed their name to "Old Legends" to honour Alec Chamberlain. Adie Boothroyd has registered himself to play for them. Boothroyd then released all players aged under 35, except for one who wished to remain as a co<strike>u</strike>ach, and appointed most of the staff as player-coaches. Alessandro Costacurta and Pablo Maldini have also signed from Milan, along with Edwin Van de Sarr from Man U. In honour of all this, the goverment sent the Old Legends a big fat pay cheque to be spent in the next 2 months on player.
Who will Chelsea sign with their puny amount of money?
Who will be Chelsea's new manager?
Will any of the players be bought back or covinced to return before they sign for another club?
Will Robben, Drogba, Essien or Lampard's 5 million bay-back clauses ever be activated?
Will they ever be taken over?
Will they ever get a decent stadium?
Will htey ever win the premiership again?
Will they stay up?
Who, if anyone, will the Old Legends sign?
will they buy any of their old players back?
How long will it take the players to retire?
Will any of the player coaches leave?
if Boothroyd leaves, who will be the new manager?
Will Vicarage Road ever know silverwear?
