Transfers In Transfers Out
John Fleck was loaned to us from Rangers. I had to turn down Antonio Flores as he was Spainish.
The season was going very well at the end of December. We were top having played 19 games picking up 47 points. I was obvious from then that it would be a two horse race for the title between us and Raith. January saw us win all 4 games and extend our lead to 9 points. Fixture congestion with 3 cup games meant we struggled a bit for fitness in February. We picked up 8 points from the 4 games and remained 9 points clear. March saw us bring the title home. We won all 5 games and won the title with 5 games spare. We had stretched out lead to 23 points. 8 points in April from the remaining 4 games meant we finish with 90 points 22 clear of 2nd.

The Scottish Cup was great getting to the quarter finals before Celtic beat us 2-0. Picked up £130,000 for it as well.

A fantastic season with the new formation and tactical tweaks working a treat. Lamb was brilliant at the back and deadly at corners with a 20 in jumping and finishing top scorer. Replacing Fleck will be hard as the quality of corners from him made so many goals possible for Lamb. A few bodies will be brought in as we need to get a bigger squad to try and stay up.
