well... i'm back to this challenge and i have played three seasons, and since i have played them and on to my fourth season i cant be bothered ooking for screenshots, other than the league tables at the end of each season, so here they are...

Season 1
http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...12006-2007.jpg

Won the league on the last day of the season to secure automatic promotion to the second division, good progress for the first season

Season 2
http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...22007-2008.jpg

struggled in my first season in the second division, however I did manage to stay alfoat, and live to fight another year

Season 3
http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...32008-2009.jpg

Finished in a play off spot where i got beat on penalties by clyde, so again, good progress being made, heres hoping next season I can be successful with my quest for promotion to the 1st division.

Be back soon with my season 4 update!

P.S. is there anyone out there doing this challengs, I am keen to know your progress if you are (y)

I would like to join the challenge Davie

Manager Profile

I have chosen Albion Rovers.

I have only retained players from England as I couldn't see how to do it for Great Britain.

Albion Rovers
Season 2006/07
Division: Scottish Third Division
Title:: It’s not the best that get promoted but those who hit form at the right time.
Media Prediction: 10th
Actual Place:3rd
Scottish Cup: 1st Round Lost 2-0 to Cowdenbeath
League Cup: 1st Round lost 4-0 to Queen of the South
Challenge Cup: 1st Round lost to Patrick Thistle
Average League Attendance: 337
Top League Scorer: John McGoldrick (33)
Top League Assists: John McGoldrick (11)
Top 3 players: John McGoldrick, Scott Edgar, Raymond Logan

Glasgow Rangers became a parent club. Hopefully we will see the benefits of this and we will get some talented youngsters in on loan.

I was busy in the transfer market bringing in 9 players throughout the season. To cover the cost of the extra wages I allowed 4 players to move on. Transfers In Transfers Out

New coaching staff and an additional scout were also brought in.

At the end of December we had played 20 games picking up 21 points. This meant we were 9th in the league with a quite a poor goal difference of –12. 9 points from 4 games in January saw us climb 1 place to 8th. February was similar to January picking up 9 points from 4 games. We moved into 6th place. 6 points from the 4 games in March meant we remained in 6th. We won all 4 of the remaining games to finish in 3rd and gain a playoff spot. League Chart

In the first leg we beat Dumbarton 4-1 with McGoldrick scoring all of our goals. Walker (who has struggled to impress all season was the hero to send us into the final despite losing 3-2. Playoff Semi 1st Leg Playoff Semi 2nd Leg

A McGoldrick hatrick saw us win the first leg 3-2 against Stranraer in the final. McGoldrick scored the goal that got us promoted in a 1-1 draw in the second leg. Playoff Final 1st PLayoff Final 2nd Leg

A great season where we struggled at first (failed to win in the first 7 games) but got better and better as we added to the side. Next season we will be facing an up hill battle. I plan to only renew the contracts of those who play regularly to free up additional wages for new players. I must find a way to replace McGoldrick who will return to Patrick Thistle. Hopefully Rangers will send me some quality players.

McGoldrick was fanstatic and easily the best player been the top scorer, assist, and man of the match out of all in the league. McGoldrick

All of the cups were disappointing.
