Well, after I got my hands and kness and prayed for a win my boys delivered, beating Baulmes 2-0 away from home and we'd touched 7th place, but, my joy was short lived when we came up against Yverdon at home in our next fixture

That sucked

Unfortunately I crashed out of the Euro Cup 2nd round Qual. after a 2-1 defeat at Raydale Park, despite taking the lead, they pegged me back straight away then got the winner in the 81st minute

Oh fiddlesticks

I seem to be on a mini run of form of late, winning three of my last four and drawing the other which has lifted me up to a lofty 4th position

FC Vaduz 2 - 1 Lugano
Kriens 2 - 3 FC Vaduz
FC Vaduz 1 - 1 Winterthur
La Chax-de-Fonds 0 - 1 FC Vaduz

And if another club makes an enquiry for Antti Pohja I'll scream!

Well we've now had our first 3 league games which have been crazily played over the space of 5 days!

Vaduz 1-2 Chiassao - They scored the winner in the 91st minute.

Concordia BS 0-2 Vaduz

Vaduz 2-0 Yverdon - Yverdon are the media predicts for 1st spot so not bad for us part timers.

Although one grumpy fan was interviewed after the game and had this to say:

There's one at every club!

We battered Metalurg ZP at Rheinpark Stadion in the 1st leg of our UEFA Qualify 2nd Rd match so with ten minutes to go and the score at 0-0 I was gutted to see them awarded a penalty.

Imagine my delight then when the kick was blasted over the bar and that then in the 92nd minute Juan Manuel "Rocket" Sara fired into the top corner from the edge of the box to give a 1-0 lead to take to Urkraine.

FC Vaduz v Metalurg ZP

We then had an impressive 3-0 win away at FC Servette to follow it up. Good times.

We've reached the end of August so the transfer window has now closed. Here are the players brought in.

Marco Perez returned to his homeland for £10,000 and Portugese goalkeeper Carlos Silva was deemed surplus to requirements and allowed to leave on a free.

The pick of the above are young centre mid Vincenzo Esposito signed from Melfi of Italy. As well as Esposition was, who I hope to be a future Liechtenstein No 1 goalkeeper, Daniel Steuble.

Other news saw Sara awarded Player of the Month with 9 goals in 10 games, with Cameroon centre half Jean-Francois Bell was named second as well.

The first round of the UEFA Cup has been drawn and we face the daunting task of facing Bulgarian runners up CSKA Sofia.

League results have been as follows:

FC Vaduz 2-2 Bellinzona
FC Vaduz 2-2 Lausanne

We currently hold 7th position in the table although our European exploits mean we are two games behind most teams.
