The Experiment

I have created a team called SIFC (Sports Interactive Football Club) in the editor.

The team contains no players, no manager and no staff other than a chairman.

The team plays in the English Premier Division, in place of Watford who are deleted from the game.

The team has a transfer budget of £200,000,000

The team has finances of £500, 000, 000

The team plays at SI Park (750 capacity , standing room only!) No expansion capacity

The clubs reputation is set to 10,000

The Aim

To see if they will sign any good players. To see who they appoint as manager. To find out how many years it takes before the much needed new stadium is built.

It will be a holiday game.

UPDATE - 1st October 2006

Frank Rijkaard is proving incompetant in making signings as he still hasn't made a single signing!

The regens are having to play along with a few greyed out players. However, they ar e doing okay when it comes to performances in the league.

Rijkaard is now under pressure, with SIFC lying 14th. No players have been signed so based on the squad I think these are decent results.

Riijkard has been sacked with the team still 14th in the league.

The favourites are Lippi (unemployed, Wenger (Arsenal), Ancelotti (Milan) and Benitez (Liverpool).

Meanwhile, no transfers took place in January.

Partly because for most of it they were managerless.

UPDATE - 3rd March 2006

SIFC have risen 2 places to 12th with a steady set of results. The highlight of which was a 4-0 drubbing of Middlesbrough.
