SIFC 1-1 Sunderland
SIFC 2-1 Man Utd
SIFC 1-1 Bolton
SIFC 2-0 Tottenham

No surprise to see that

1) There is a limited amount of transfer activity that AI managers will undertake, presumably because of processing overheads as well as the realism factor. They also take a long time making transfers rather than sending out a flood of enquiries on the first day of their job, and if the players they shortlist are unavailable they won't switch to alternative targets.
2) Managers at top reputation clubs are very selective about who they think is good enough for them and so won't be prepared to do what a human manager would do in this situation (get in some mediocre players to flesh the squad out a bit because the greys are useless in the Premiership). The only thing that I'm surprised at is that the value of the transfers is low as well as the number.

Man Utd only 6th!
