Haha, well it wasn't really practice, I'm just choosing to call it that since I failed miserably.
I'll definitely be sticking in Hong Kong though, as for some reason I can't explain I really find the league to be enjoyable. It probably has something to do with the quickness of it, only 18 games and you're done.
For season 08/09 the only team that would hire me was newly promoted Lucky Mile (this is the disadvantage of Hong Kong, if you get sacked there are only 10 teams out there to hope to land a job with). I was actually hoping for Double Flower as I had a nice game with them in the past, but they didn't manage to be promoted this time.
I'm hoping to get some good play in tonight and possibly a season summary as well, or tomorrow morning.

I tried using Woodlands once (my home town club). Managed to win Singapore Cup (first trophy in their history incredibly), which qualifed me for the ACC.
Looking to have another go again soon.

Try to get players from free transfers from the other clubs.
First season finished, after a slow start (one win in 10) I finally put a good run together and finished 7th.
I didn't do very well in any of the cups, but it's a good start to me career :-)
Just a warning, as I played loads in Asia, and the CL was my biggest aim:
Fixture clashings will be I'm afraid terrible. AFC zone WC qualifiers and Asian Cup qualifiers have a habit of clashing with the Asian CL (and other continental cups) matches.
Once I saw the CL final clashing with a WC quali, resulting in the Saudi champions playing with reserves.
The furthest I got was Asian CL-semis. Fought out a valuable 1-1 draw at the Chinese champions, and...
...got 12 player called up for international duty in the return leg, losing the home game 4-0 I was gutted, needless to say.
My second season is now over, after a great start I had a terrible injury crisis which left 7 first team players out injured for long times. I finished 8th, avoided relagation thanks to the poor perfomances of the 2 teams below me, rather than my own teams form.
I've bought some (hopefully) good players and released 10 players for the start of the new season. Hopefully I can get a respectable position this season.
