A Wright Ol' Challenge
The Isle of Wight is a small island south of Hampshire. It is not renowned for being a hotbed of football, with their most famous side Newport (IW) F.C only reaching the heights of the Southern League.
Oh how times can change...
The Arsenal Legend Ian Wright, a regular holidayer on the island, was busy arguing with himself as usual over why his son Shaun was not Engand's number one right winger, when he had a brainwave! "Wight sounds like Wright" he announced triumphantly and he then made a vow to buy the Island and rename it the Isle of Wright!
But not only that! He would create a new football club where his two sons could be the stars and lead the side to glory! With the financial backing of Russian steel magnate and close family friend Ivan Molanski, his new side Isle of Wright FC was born and managed to bribe their way into the Conference South for the upcoming season.
The first order of business for chairman Wright was the signings of sons Shaun and Bradley to this new club. Now he is looking for a new manager to take control of his dream team.
Is that person going to be you?
