[quote]Pre Season Report
Not such a great pre-season for the league's newcomers, only winning 1 out of their 6 friendly matches. Things also took a turn for the worst when BWP got a long term injury, meaning he would not be back untill at least Christmas.

Success! The league and cup double was completed by the Isle of Wright whcih brought happiness and jubiltation to the streets of Newport. A win over Stevenage in the FA Trophy after a late penalty from Ian Herring.
Due to pesistant requests, Billy Sharp was sold to West Ham for a measley $1.1m so a replacement was need. Enter Jermaine Easter, a 550k signing from Scunthope to replace Billy Sharp. That was the only signing made in the season. Other players being sold at the end of the seaosn ar James O'Connor to Ipswich and Stephen Quinn to Preston Bets Players

Despite trying every trick in the book besides cheating or using an editor, it seems that it is impossible to keep SWP as chairman has agreed to sell him for almost nothing!!! I do believe that it is unavoidable and so I'm not sure what we can do about it.
Any suggestions now would be extremely welcome!

| Maybe if you set it to zero? Surely the chairman wouldn't except that offer! Right?

Now that Photobucket is working - here are my screenshots of the Conference Season. League Table SWP Transfers BWP
As for your problem Jacky, i have not sold SWP yet as all the clubs are biding £0 for him, so i am just rejecting, i am sure that Wrighty would not accept that right? Just what Neo said. It is going well for me so far, however i am concerned that SWP will have a loyalty bypass and demand to leave, but i will come to that bridge when i cross it.

Decided to a least start this one Just can't say no to taking powerhouses up from the ashes.

I'm still trying to find a suitable right back after being spurned by Stephen Wright and Frank Sinclair. Really happy to have gotten Speroni and Vass though. Hopefully those two can anchor with the Wright boys right up to the Prem. I also have David McGoldrick coming in from Southampton in the second window, since he's currently on loan at Torquay. I didn't know if I was allowed to sign Ujkani. If I'm not just let me know and I'll cut him loose. And now for the Friendlies.
IOWFC 2 - 2 Everton (SWP, BWP)
Worcester 1 - 1 IOWFC (Fadiga)
IOWFC 1 - 0 Reading (BWP)
Bath 0 - 2 IOWFC (Anyinsah, BWP)
IOWFC 2 - 1 Barnsley (BWP, SWP)
IOWFC 1 - 2 QPR (Dorian Mitchell (youth regen))
So things are looking pretty good. We beat one Prem team and tied another. Hopefully this will translate into a dominent season down in the dregs. Will update soon, I hope.

| END OF TRANSFER WINDOW UPDATE
Got two right backs in the end. Signed Barnsley's Ryan Laight and Crewe's Paul Bignot for 10K each. Also added Alex Russell from Bristol City on free and plucked Valerio Tappia off the free agent wire from Livorno.
After 6 games in the league, IOW have 18 points and a GF-GA of 23-1. A bit of concern though as SWP has as many goals for us (1) as for the opponents (The only goal against us was an own goal he potted against Sailsbury). But he does have an average rating of 8.50, so he can stay in the lineup. Plus BWP and Ex-Owl David Grahm have combined for 15 goals so far, so his lack of goals is easily covered.
