Scotland secured entry into the third round of the Fifa Nations Cup with a excellent 2-0 away win against Russia. Boyd scored on 51 minutes, and Ferguson secured victory on 86 minutes. Ian Murray was man of the match.
Boyd was on target again for Scotland as they beat League Leaders Cameroon in a typical fashion. Benoit Assou-Ekotto scored just before half time, but Fletcher equalised for Scotland immediately. Boyd then scored the winner on 68 minutes. Broad foot banished memories of Denmark to give a brilliant performance.
South Korea's dismal form took a turn for the worse as they dominated in the second half but could not finish to save themselves. Boyd, Fletcher and Ferguson got the goals for Scotland. Young full back Stevie Smith was man of the match, and Young Player of the Month.
Scotland missed the oppurtunity to go first in the Silver league with a two-all draw against Colombia. Ian Murray opened the scoring but Luis Gabriel Rey cancelled him out. Vladimir Marin was ent off, and from the resulting free kick Charlie Adam scored. However, Scotland threw away the points, giving away a pointless goal, which Angel scored. Luis Perea was man of the match.
Shaun Maloney marked his return to the squad from injury with a magnificent brace to sink greece. Kris Boyd, however, scored the winner with just four minutes to go. Greece were furious the goal was allowed to stand. Giannakopolous and Lyberopoulos were on target for Greece.
Saleh Basheer scored the only goal of the game to end Scotland's FIFA Nations Cup campaign. Saudi Arabia's Moutha Al-Hawasawi was the MotM.
Scotland did the very same thing they did against Colombia. Riordan opened the scoring, but Volanthen equalised. Maloe gave Scotlan the lead, but Muller scored late on to give the swiss a vital point in their push for promotion. Philip Degen won the MotM award.

Scott Brown finally paid off Richard Tait's faith by turning Uruguay inside-out, in Scotland's two-one win. Brown got both the assists, and Boyd and Maloney were the scorers. Diego Forlan was on target for Uruguay. Carlos Grossmuller was sent off with thre minutes to go.
Ireland battled back from 3-1 down to claim a point in this match. Ireland took the lead through Doyle, but Kris boyd scored twice before half-time. Boyd added a third goal for Scotland, and many thought the game to be over at that point. But Ireland pulled through, Doyle and Stephen Elliot scored late on tho get a point. For his three goals, Boyd won the MotM.
Derek Riordan was unsure about his future at Hampden, but the manager gave him the vote of confidence ahead of Miller, Boyd's usual replacement. Riordan scored the only goal of the game, after some nice play by Charlie Adam. Riordans joy was short-lived as he sprained his ankle. Raymond Kalla was the MotM.
Scotland (Shaun Maloney in particular) outclassed both Russia and Denmark. They scored a total of ten goals, and conceded four. Maloney scored 5 of these 10 goals, Boyd scored two, Brown scored two, and McCulloch scored one. Boyd and Maloney won MotM against Russia and Denmark respectively.
South Korea are on a losing run. Since beating Paraguay in the FIFA nations cup in December 2006, they haven't won since. Its March 2007. So this was was a forgone conclyusion. Lacking confidence, Korea failed to get one shot on target. Charlie Adam and Darren Fletcher scored the Scotland goals, Adam winning MotM.

I just recieved a contract offer from my chairman, as I have secured a play-off place, but I am top.
£82M transfer budget, but no players worth buying £2M wage budget. bu, if i put the budget down from £81M to £40M, and ask for stadium expansion, they just say no!!!
They're lucky i'm doing this challenge, else I would have excepted Holland's job offer |

Currently in January of second season, and have just retaken top spot on GD after 21 games.
We are struggling in defence the most, and missing Kusczak at the back.
Piotr Trochowski is the star player atm though, 22 apps 14 goals 7 assists.
Only the top team goes up automatically, while the 3 below them have to go through the playoffs so getting promoted will be tough this season.
Going to try and sign Kuszcak in this window to boost pur promotion hopes though.

Just into Feb now, managed to sign Kuszczak from Man U at the end of the window \o/
Cost me over £4m + future fees but he's probably the best Polish keeper on the game now and is still only 25 so will last the duration of the challenge, hopefully forming an integral part of a successful team.
