Walcotts, I understand and appreciate the time and effort you put in to this, but you would have done better to create all new teams, and simply "swap teams" this way Italy would not end up with the rangers badge etc, and Scottish players would not have been playing for Austrailia for x number of years.
Doesn't really matter though, although I have to delete my logos and kits for scotland

Yeah, good point.
I thought of that as I was doing the last division of teams, but couldn't be bothered to go back and redo it all.
I just turn off the badges / logos etc in the preferences thingy, that way the Scottish graphics don't come through and then all I had to do was just move the Scottish club kits to another directory and it solves the problem. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Why didn't I think of that? |

Quick update: Scotland lose 4-3 to South Korea. Scotlands best player was Shaun Maleoney, as he scored two goals. Captain Barry Ferguson also got himself on the scoresheet. Korea's Choi Sung Kook won the man of the match, after scoring a hat-trick.

Got excited when I filtered the player seacrh to show only Polish players and saw Lukas Podolski at the top, before remembering I cannot buy him as he has played for Germany.
Made my first signing though, Piotr Trochowski who is uncapped atm.
Been focusing on bringing my backroom staff up to standard. Only had 1 scout and a few coaches that weren't that good.

20/1 to win the Third Divison, and expected to finish bottom /o\
Wasn't expected to be favourites, still some good teams in the divsion, but to be predicted worse than Wales, N. Ireland, Iran and Saudi Arabia is just bad
Gregorz Rasiak also out for 3 months /o\

Silver League leaders Ukraine underestimated Scotland's ability in their match in the International Shield second round. Scotland won 4-1 with Beattie, Boyd(2) and McFadden getting on the scoresheet.
Switzerland absorbed Scotland's pressure for 85 minutes before scoring three goals in five minutes to grab the three points. Scotland manager Richard Tait was in disbelief following the game.
Andy Webster got himself a two week fine following his sending off in Scotland's 3-0 reverse to Romania in the International Plate. The Scotland manager said 'had Webster not been sent off so early, then we (Scotland) may have had a better chance'.
In Scotland's 6-0 trouncing of Ireland, Scotland welcomed back Scott Brown, who was injured just three minutes into their game against Korea. John Kennedy also made his first full start, following an injury to Ian Murray. Grameme Murty got an unexpected hat-trick, and the Man Of the Match. Scotland manager Richard Tait said 'We need to build on this. Don't get me wrong, this is a terrific result, but we must build towards achieving promotion.' Seven players were then named in the "team of the week".
Left-back Steven Smith and goalkeeper Craig Gordon were the heroes for Scotland, as Scotland reached the fourth round of the International Shield, beating Gold League leaders Brazil 1-0. Steven Smith scored the only goal of the game in the thirty fifth minute to seal the victory. However, had it not been for Craig Gordons magnificent goalkeeping, The scoreline may have been very different. Richard Tait was said to be over the moon with his players, especially Craig Gordon. Scotland drew Ivory Coast (away) in the Quarter Final.
