This sounds seriously great! Thinking of trying this myself when I get time. Good job Kimmo, this is the first challenge that has really taken my fancy and made me want to play even more FM! (So be prepared for my boss, family and girlfriend to come knocking on your door)

Well, seeing as how I can play at work (between 4 and 8 hours of gametime per day, depending on business) I should be able to play quite a lot

Oh, and hands off my girlfriend! She can waste a lot of game time (dear god that came off wrong..)

I would start now (or rather, half an hour ago!) but, alas, I'm at school! The teacher won't allow me to install fm on school computers Just out of curiosity, as you have put a lot of thought into this, how long would you expect this to last, if all goes fairly smoothly? (by which I mean how long in game years)

haven't really thought about it, but someone towards the top of the thread said a ten season minimum, obviously depending on the job you start with,

sounds like you've got a good school and a very good job!

I was thinking maybe about 20 seasons myself, but that's just me

Well, I've got a very allowing job, although I haven't got an internet connection there, which is not ideal. Then again, I'd flood this board if I had all day to post The school is fine, marketing and somesuch, doing some excel now, meaning I've nothing to do as I already know all the stuff he's teaching.

Can't wait to get home though, fire up my lappie and straight to FM Have never even managed in three of those countries, although I have always been very curious about MLS and Brazil.

Doesn't the Brazilian league run in one form or another through some ten months? or was that the argentinian? Bear with me, I'm getting old

Yeah, same as that, if not more. There are 9 leagues to win, plus you have to gain a reputation to manage a top club or get promoted first. So at least 10 seasons if you do it back to back.

However, what are the chances of winning every league and champions league back to back with 9 clubs? You got it. So 20 seasons is a good estimate. Maybe even 25-30.
