Is there a limit on how long after challenges go dead before they are closed? If not then maybe it would be an idea as there are lots of challanges that havnt been posted in since feb. Maybe having a 2 week rule, this would allow dead challanges to be stopped so fresh ones could be started.

There already is an OOTP-style sign-up.

Basically, one person will make a team in the game database and put it in a league.
Then forum memers will put there name downs on a list with a position, and provide stats for their players.
The person who is running it will add these players into the database and give them a contract to the team they created.
They then start a new game with that team and post its progress.

That is a basic sign-up, there are some more elaborate ones out there, if you look through some you can see ideas different people have had for new ones.
