Second update time as we progress to a new year. Miroslav Klose wins both Player of the Year and Footballer of the Year awards, whereas Carlos Tevez comes 2nd in Footballer of the Year and Ruud van Nistelrooy 3rd. Tevez and Nistelrooy swapped places in Player of the Year award. Update Date ~ 01.01.07 Joe Defoe
We see some awesome display in India. Dempo won the Durand Cup with a net 3-1 win over JCT Football Club. However they are knocked out in Prelim Rnd of Federations Cup. 6 days to start the league. Simon Campbell
Appointed by Thurrock (English Conference South) as manager in 29.11.2006. Thurrock past Banbury in FA Trophy 1st Rnd by 2-1 in an away replay game after 1-1 draw at home. They are to face Cambridge. The team was already knocked out of FA Cup in 1st Rnd when Campbell got the job. The “young and talented manager” bought 3 players from various clubs with no fee at all. They are expected to come 7th. Here is Campbell’s progress so far and the league position.
3-0 || Eastleigh || H
2-0 || Bishop’s Stortford || H
1-1 || Fisher || H
1-1 || Basing Stoke || H
League Position: 17th || Thurrock || 21 || 5 || 8 || 8 || 25 || 27 || -2 || 23
Campbell has a PT contract of £100 pw up to 30.11.2007. Ben Chia
Singaporean League ended in 21.11.2006. No change in the manager although Super Reds finished at the bottom as 12th, being predicted as 7th.
League position: 12th || Super Reds || 33 || 5 || 10 || 18 || 32 || 59 || -27 || 25
Chia extended his contract and now has a FT contract of £140 pw up to 27.11.2009. Jack Birkinshaw
They are knocked out in both cups, both in 1st Rnd. They are a bit better than where we left them in the league, moving up from the relegation zone. Expected to finish in 23rd.
League Position: 17th || St. Albans || 24 || 7 || 6 || 11 || 27 || 37 || -10 || 27 Jordan Shelley
In League Cup they have beaten Liverpool in 3rd Rnd and Bolton in 4th but got knocked out by Plymouth in an evenly game by 2-1. We will see them against Wolves in FA Cup 3rd Rnd. Although they are performing better both in cups and in the league, early season bookmarker’s belief of winning the title puts the manager Dennis Wise in an insecure position. We’ll see if they sack Dennis Wise and hire their excellent youth coach Shelley as their new manager.
League Position: 6th || Leeds || 27 || 10 || 9 || 8 || 37 || 34 || +3 || 39 Teejay Vizzy
Nothing really happened here. 16 days to Rio State Opening Stage.
Vizzy has extended his contract to a FT contract of £100 pw up to 15.12.2008. Brad Harper
Knocked out of League Cup 3rd Rnd, we see them against Crystal Palace at home in FA Cup 3rd Rnd. Predicted as 22nd, they sit somewhere just a little bit above. A huge drop in just 3 months in fact.
League Position: 19th || Barnsley || 27 || 8 || 9 || 10 || 35 || 36 || -1 || 33 David Rosing-Schow
A steady performance by Skive. They remain the same when we enter a new year. A long holiday takes place in Denmark at the moment. Next league game to come in 82 days.
League Position: 12th || 15 || 4 || 4 || 7 || 19 || 24 || -5 || 16 Alex Barkley
Important news here. The board room sacked Neil Aspin in 24.09.2006 and hired Ian Drewitt 4 days after. Pity, they didn’t see the talent in their assistant manager, Barkley. We see them lose to Droylsden in FA Trophy 3rd Qual Rnd, thus pushing Harrogate out of any cup fixture for the season. League goes well as they improve 4 places up to 16th, though they are still underachieving being predicted as 6th.
League Position: 16th || Harrogate || 22 || 6 || 5 || 11 || 22 || 28 || -6 || 23 Liam Franek
They are both knocked out in FA Cup 2nd Qual Rnd Replay and FA Trophy 3rd Qual Rnd. Only league remains for them now. Being predicted as 4th, they have a lot to do with their deducted 10 points. If it weren’t for that deduction, they were sitting in 5th.
League Position: 17th || Farnborough || 22 || 10 || 4 || 8 || 30 || 28 || +2 || 24 (10 points deducted) Big Sam
Bad news arrives for Boston. They are knocked out from both cups. Johnstone’s Trophy in 1st Rnd and FA Cup also 1st Rnd, but this time after a replay game. Expected to come 15th, they are just normal for the time being.
League Position: 16th || Boston Utd || 25 || 7 || 8 || 10 || 30 || 36 || -6 || 29 Sérgio Giovanni
Predicted to come 4th early season, Real Union showed a good form in 3 months time, sharing the top spot with Real Oviedo.
League Position: 1st || Real Union || 18 || 12 || 3 || 3 || 28 || 11 || +17 || 39

Obviously the manager of Boston isnt listening to me!! Silly Americans! This time I have more chance of getting promoted to manager soon, as I am now ass manager, not coach. The team will improve when I find the best players around the world (Judging Potential 20) |

Sorry for the delay lads. Here comes the update.
Good news arrives with spring. Now we have 4 out of 12 managers. Keep on reading ^^.
Update Date ~ 01.04.07 Joe Defoe
Winter passed harsh for Dempo. 6 games remaining and they sit just above relegation zone, but with same points with the teams below them.
League Position: 12th || Dempo || 12 || 2 || 6 || 4 || 15 || 18 || -3 || 12
Contract: PT £65 pw || 31.07.2007 Simon Campbell
Knocked out by Cambridge in FA Trophy 2nd Rnd. Things are not going so well as we see them get only 6 wins in 3 months. 3 draws and 8 losses. Just 2 points above relegation zone with 5 games to go. 3 more players are bought, 2 via free transfers and 1 from some club on free.
0-1 || Havant & W || H || League
0-3 || Bognor Regis || A || League
0-1 || Weston-super-Mare || A || League
0-2 || Cambridge || A || FA Trophy 2nd Rnd
1-2 || Bedford || A || League
2-1 || Yeading || H || League
1-1 || Dorchester || A || League
1-1 || Sutton Utd || H || League
0-2 || Welling || A || League
4-1 || Farnborough || H || League
2-1 || Eastbourne Boro || A || League
1-2 || Braintree || H || League
2-1 || Cambridge City || A || League
1-1 || Lewes || H || League
1-2 || Histon || A || League
2-0 || Hayes || H || League
2-1 || Newport Co || A || League
League Position: 18th || Thurrock || 37 || 11 || 11 || 15 || 45 || 48 || -3 || 44
Contract: PT £100 pw || 30.11.2007. Ben Chia
4 games into the league and they are 10th, with an expected finish of 10th.
League position: 10th || Super Reds || 4 || 0 || 3 || 1 || 3 || 6 || -3 || 3
Contract: FT £140 pw || 27.11.2009 Jack Birkinshaw
Nothing so fancy here. 5 games to go and they sit 3 points above relegation although they are the main candidates for relegation in preseason.
League Position: 19th || St. Albans || 41 || 13 || 9 || 19 || 50 || 59 || -9 || 48
Contract: PT £50 pw || 31.07.2007 Jordan Shelley
As expected, Mr. Wise couldn’t hold against the pressure on himself and the board sacked him. With great surprise, Leeds youth coach Shelley was hired in 26.01.2007. He bought Nathan Dyer from Southampton for £375K. The team was already knocked out by Wolves in FA Cup 3rd Round when Shelley was appointed. Managed for 10 games for now, we see 5 wins, a draw and 4 losses. Still underachieving with 6 games to go, and 3 points for promotion playoff.
2-1 || Southend || H || League
2-1 || Luton || H || League
2-3 || Norwich || A || League
2-1 || Sheff Wed || A || League
2-1 || Coventry || H || League
1-3 || Wolves || A || League
3-0 || Colchester || H || League
1-2 || Sunderland || A || League
2-2 || Plymouth || A || League
0-1 || Hull || H || League
League Position: 9th || Leeds || 41 || 16 || 11 || 13 || 58 || 52 || +6 || 59
Contract: FT £275 pw || 30.06.2009 Teejay Vizzy
2 games to finish Rio State Closing, they lie 7th, no chance of a Semi Final. They finished Opening Stage 5th. Third Division Grp 15 games to start in 24.06.2007.
League Position: 5th || Cabofriense || 7 || 3 || 1 || 3 || 9 || 8 || +1 || 10 (Opening Stage)
League Position: 7th || Cabofriense || 6 || 1 || 1 || 4 || 6 || 9 || -3 || 4 (Closing Stage)
Contract: FT £100 pw || 15.12.2008 Brad Harper
Hired as Burnley (English Championship) manager in 31.03.2007. He is yet to see a game there. Predicted as 20th, Burnley is overachieving at the moment, sitting at 8th.
League Position: 8th || Burnley || 40 || 15 || 14 || 11 || 65 || 56 || +9 || 59
Contract: FT £1000 pw || 30.06.2010 David Rosing-Schow
Still Skive assistant manager and they are still sitting at 12th. The long break just ended and they had played only one game, a draw.
League Position: 12th || 16 || 4 || 5 || 7 || 20 || 25 || -5 || 17
Contract: PT £55 pw || 31.07.2007 Alex Barkley
They didn’t manage to push up to their expected place. Sitting just 2 points above relegation with 5 games to go, new manager didn’t seem to add a lot to the club. They should have hired their assistant manager I guess.
League Position: 17th || Harrogate || 37 || 11 || 9 || 17 || 44 || 48 || -4 || 42
Contract: PT £50 pw || 31.07.2007 Liam Franek
One more manager added to the tally when Franek was hired by Farnborough in 04.03.2007. 2 free transfers made and 6 games played. 3 wins, 2 draws and a loss. He managed to take Farnborough a little up, but still 7 points behind playoffs with 5 games to go. They are 5th if it wasn’t for the deduction.
1-3 || Fisher || A || League (As caretaker)
2-0 || Basingstoke || H || League
1-1 || Bedford || A || League
3-2 || Havant & W || H || League
3-1 || Weston-super-Mare || A || League
2-2 || Yeading || H || League
League Position: 12th || Farnborough || 37 || 17 || 6 || 14 || 56 || 51 || +5 || 47
Contract: PT £50 pw || 31.07.2007 Big Sam
Still normal and sitting 15th, 9 points to both promotion playoffs and relegation.
League Position: 15th || Boston Utd || 40 || 13 || 11 || 16 || 52 || 57 || -5 || 50
Contract: FT £300 pw || 18.06.20011 Sérgio Giovanni
Sitting on top with 9 games to go and 5 points in hand, they look pretty good when we enter April.
League Position: 1st || Real Union || 29 || 17 || 7 || 5 || 50 || 28 || +22 || 58
Contract: FT £300 pw || 30.06.2009
