(0-1) Four minutes later, Gonsalves did it again when an extremely quick counter attack caught Ali Gerba one on one with the keeper, and the Canadian international drew the keeper out and played the ball to Gonsalves who put the ball in the open net. (0-2) Grim faces flooded through the home fans when Gonsalves got his hat trick in the 51st, when a poor touch by Peter Tange allowed Gonsalves to put a first time shot on net which surprised Edgar Hernandez, and the ball riffled into the back of the net. (0-3) The scoring ended when Jim Brennan took down Ali Gerba in the box, and the American Jeremiah White scored without problem from the spot. (0-4) The game was completely dominated by the Tigers, and AC Edmonton didn’t manage a single shot on target.

Final: 0-4

Wow, some bad news. For some reason, the save game didn't save, so we lost the second round of games. Seeing as how everyone is entranced by the FM08 demo, I'm thinking of doing a few things.

A)Continue the way I was going, and we'll only get through about two seasons before FM08 releases.

B)I simulate a full season at a time, and write an in depth end of season write up for each club.

C)I holiday for a long time, then release a save game so that you can play as your team while you still have interest in FM07. In order to do this, however, I'd start a new game with only the Canadian leagues running (as of right now, I have MLS, Mexican Primera, Premiership, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A, and La Liga).

Any other ideas are welcome as well. I also plan on doing a similar sign up for FM08 once it releases. As of right now, I'm leaning to a combo between B and C, where I give an end of season summary (at open and close), and simulate until your players are at their peaks (around 2017-2020), then release so you all can play with your clubs. I'd appreciate your opinions.

I think the combo of B and C would be a good way to, although I wouldn't mind playing from the beginning. As long as you just saved with a manager in another league and then just let us take over with whoever, it should be fine.
