Takes me about 12-14 hours a season on average so over a couple of evenings I will have got through a season, I don't watch highlights, use commentary only. Am also self-employed and work from home so it is all too tempting to just play all day!

Alright it seems that i have made a mistake when starting this game. As i did not load all players from Australia, it is not possible for me to get the Australian job. I looked in job centre and the Australian team is not listed with all the other nations.

Should I:
a) Start again so it is possible to get the Australian job. (I'm only 1 and a bit seasons into it)
or
b) Continue playing and just ignore the Australian goal.

Blimey, that's an arse, I dunno man, up to you, it's your challenge! At least you're not that far into it so you could start again, especially as you weren't promoted first season!

It's a bit weird loading all players from Australia, plus playing with the Spanish league. To be honest I always just play the English leagues cos I prefer knowing the players, so this time around there's a lot more Spanish and Australian players about but most of all staff!

I wouldn't mind if you ignored the Australia goal, the rest of it is hard enough. Or you could replace Australia with a similarly ranked nation?

I might start this challenge, sounds good, but due to limited time on the PC, I will take a while on this. But just asking, I could swear this is not Terry Venables career? Not trying to say this challenge is bad or anything, quite the oppisite, but was this intentional?

Not sure what you mean? This is Terry Venable's career, pretty much exactly, apart from his chairman / director of football roles.

Check it out: Venable's career on wikipedia

Season 2013/14 - QPR - 9th in Premiership

No nearer to 5th place and no place in Europe this time around, and was also narrowly beaten on penalties by Chelsea in the FA cup semi-final, annoying. Especially as they scored a last minute equaliser. FA Cup semi-final

QPR - Premiership - 2013/14

Jeez, that was unlucky in the Chelsea match. Anyway it seems your starting to make progress towards completing the Q.P.R part of this challenge. Any chance of having a look at your squad?? (if it's no trouble)

I think i might start this one again, as it is such a long term challenge i'd like to actually complete it properly. My last exam is on Tuesday, so i'll be able to get through my game a lot faster than i have been previously.

Here's my squad, pretty unrecognisable now, only Ray Jones has survived from the original R's squad. Darren Pratley and Connor Clifford were there when I took over but the rest are all my signings!

QPR Squad 2014

Good luck with your exams, then I look forward to you maybe catching me up! God knows how long I'll be at QPR though...

Another couple of seasons done, time for an update, still no closer to my goal though, so this could be a long one!

Season 2014/15 - QPR - 10th in Premiership

Disappointing mid-table mediocrity. Missed out on Europe by one point though. Europe needs to be a priority to be able to attract players to challenge for that 5th place so I gotta get my act together.

QPR - Premiership - 2014/15

Season 2015/16 - QPR - 12th in Premiership

Even bigger disappointment. Nowhere near Europe this year. After losing my ambitious Israeli striker Damari to Porto, I had to rethink my formation and went for a 4-2-3-1 due to my abundance of quality central attacking midfielders and one quality striker Sturridge. I guess this tactic didn't prove as effective as I had hoped, but I was trying to play to the strengths of my squad, perhaps Sturridge can't cut it as a lone front man as scoring goals was a problem this season. Some big changes need to be made.

QPR - Premiership - 2015/16

On another note, Leeds finished 3rd in the Championship, but lost out in the play-offs, still keeping an eye on them.
