Apologies for double post, when I posted the first one I got an error screen and it didn't appear in the thread so tried again but it obviously put both through!

Was so distraught I continued to 19th June and realised I couldn't go back and get a screenshot. But suffice to say I finished bottom, although only 3 points separated the bottom 5 clubs. Didn't get out of the relegation zone all season though.

Quite surprised as I normally over-achieve with clubs so not sure what went wrong, but gonna get some more bosmans (there's some tasty ones available) and see if I can't come straight back up and come up stronger.

Arse, bit of a setback though, QPR are just gonna have to wait a bit longer! (maybe they'll get promoted so I don't have to do it! )
Bad luck mate, looks like this challenge could be a long one

I'm just past the august transfer deadline in my first season with Palace and am not going to well

I'll post some screenies later on

Come on! Straight back up! That's more like it!

Check out these signings I got for my season in the championship:

Ludovic Guily (bosman), Glen Johnson (bosman), DaMarcus Beasley (bosman), Djibril Cisse (£2.6m, transfer-listed), Hernan Crespo (160k, transfer-listed) and Jerzy Dudek (375k, transfer-listed).

Had another big clear out, but those signings did the business, all averaging over 7 and 26 goals from Cisse meant I romped home with the title (well, by 2 points).

Palace Champions 08/09

And check out this for a surprise!!

Interesting premiership relegation!

What could this hold for the future? Will Spurs be in League Two once I finish at Barca?? We'll see...but come on Palace, more bosmans and 10th place here we come!

Just looking back over my updates, it's a bit messy so will recap:

Season 06/07 - Crystal Palace - 5th in the Chamionship - promoted via the play-offs

Season 07/08 - Crystal Palace - 20th in the Premiership - relegated

Season 08/09 - Crystal Palace - 1st in the Championship - promoted

Season 09/10 - Crystal Palace

Transfers in - Alan Smith (bosman), Jon Dahl-Tomasson (back-up, bosman), Arne Freidrich (bosman), Steed Malbranque (£4.6m from relegated Spurs), David Beckham!! (£8k), and Hedwiges Maduro (£4.9m in January)

Transfers out - Crespo, Kuqi, Jorge Lopez and Ben Watson amongst others.

Beckham made a decent contribution - 5 goals and 2 assists from 13 appearances but Alan Smith was star man, only 12 goals and 11 assists but average rating of 7.3 and the fulcrum of my attack.

An awesome season, expected to consolidate and aim for tenth next year but a hard-fought slog from the boys means we finish bang on tenth place, step 1 complete!

Crystal Palace - Premiership 2010

But - bad news. QPR narrowly lost in the play-off final! Which means John Gregory is doing an awesome job! When will I get the chance to 'declare interest'? Will I be stuck at Palace forever!? I'm keen to get going as I'm behind schedule but we'll just have to see.

This could be a problem for step 3 too, can we invisage Barca finishing outside the top 2 anytime soon or going trophyless? Anyway, cross that bridge when I come to it.

Let's see how QPR get on next season...Mr. Venables has his eye on them...

Well, well, well, after a great season reaching the play-offs, it appears John Gregory has suffered at the start of this 2010/11 season!

The game must realise I'm doing this challenge! After a poor start winning only one of their first eight games, and results after that not picking up enough, John Gregory is finally under pressure as QPR drop into the relegation zone at the end of November.

Smelling blood I resign from Crystal Palace immediately (don't want my new club to have to pay compensation! ) and declare interest in the R's job.

A couple of days later Gregory is sacked, and I apply for the job. It doesn't take them long, after all, I am a world class manager now!

I leave Palace where they finished last time out, still in tenth place, and I look forward to meeting them in the future in the Premiership with my new club!

Step 2 begins!

Bye bye Palace

Step 2

Extra incentive?

To be honest, the squad looks awful and they already have 5 loan signings so I can't do too much until January. Gotta keep them up before I think about promotion! Here goes...

Season 10/11 - QPR - 20th in the Championship.

Really struggled with this squad and it took me a long while to get out of the relegation zone, there were one or two shaky moments when the board weren't happy with results so I'm just glad I made it.

Hoping to improve the squad in the summer and aim for the play-offs.

QPR - Championship 10/11

Looks like QPR is going to be a challenge for you mate. I've finally finished my first season with Palace, having been slowed down by exams recently.

Crystal Palace 06/07
Championship - 7th
After a shocking start to the season, i managed to regain form late in the season but it wasnt enough to ensure a playoff position.

I have further updates, it's just seemed that no-one was around but I'll post them now.

Season 2011/12 - QPR - 2nd in Championship - automatic promotion.

Had a big clear out, but a lot of the transfers in won't be really recognisable names anymore so I won't go through them all but I picked up Tyrone Mears who done a decent job for the one season and David Beckham again for his wicked delivery, cameo appearances but worth it! But the real stunning transfer of the summer was picking up transfer-listed by request Daniel Sturridge from Man City for nothing! His 24 goals helped the new-look QPR stun the championship by finishing second and going up automatically.

QPR promoted!

On another note, Leeds were promoted back up from League One, just keeping an eye on them for later, much later!

Season 2012/13 - QPR - 8th in Premiership - qualified for Intertoto Cup.

Another season of over-achievement, culminating in a place in Europe (thank heavens Aston Villa didn't apply for the Intertoto cup!)

No transfers of note, just hard graft from the boys and 19 goals from Sturridge showed he can be a real threat at the top level, more to come from him I think if I can keep him at Loftus Road.

QPR in Europe!

Still keeping an eye on Leeds, and they went straight back down to League One in true yo-yo fashion!

European competition for the R's has meant I have been able to bring in some bigger names over the summer so far, transfer-listed Ashley Cole and Robert Enke (GK) being the biggest, let's see if we can break into the top 5...
