Could be a long one, I anticipate a MINIMUM of 3 years for step 1, 4 years for step 2, 2 years for step 3, 2 years for step 4 and 3 years for step 5. 14 years, phew, and that's if everything goes like clockwork! That doesn't include the international challenges either!

I'm a QPR fan and Spurs are my second team so I have a vested interest here, I'm gonna see how it goes.

How u gettin on manyoo? (if you're still doing it?)
Thanks for the comments

There seemed to be very little interest in this when i first posted it, so feel free to update me with how you fare in this challenge.

This challenge has taken a back seat to my Man City for the last few weeks, but i might start playing it again.

I'm on the verge of completing step 1, currently in my 3rd season with Palace and am 9th in the Prem with around 10 games left in the season, so i still got a bit of work to go.

Here's the man himself in all his glory, have also added another screenie so u can see I set favourite club to Spurs! (editor has his as Chelsea and Spurs but seeing we can only do one, I chose Spurs - a) because I like them and b) because El Tel will be heading there after Barca!)

I'm hoping to get friendly with Rafa Benitez once I'm in the prem, as I can pick up some of his Spanish scouting knowledge! Will perhaps stand me in good stead come 2014/15 or whenever or if I make it to La Liga!

Have gone crazy trying to improve the quality of the squad, I've realised that I don't need to think about the club's long-term future so I'm going for anyone and everyone and screw the wage budget!

In: Denilson (from Arsenal) £1.8m! Jorge Lopez (Spanish winger)

In on bosmans: Steve Sidwell, Javier Pinola (Argentinian left-back), Francisco Pavon (from Real Madrid!), Craig Moore, Anthony Grant (from Chelsea), a couple of other back-ups and the legend that is Jay Jay Okocha! He can still do a job I'm sure of it (and my scouts think so too more importantly).

In on loan: Lassana Diarra and Glen Johnson from Chelsea plus 3 Spanish back-ups.

I did get one player for the future, was just browsing and noticed him but remembered he was a wonderkid at Liverpool in another save so snapped him up - Georginio Wijnaldum.

Took the opportunity to get rid of a lot of the old squad as most of their contracts had run out anyway. Only players keeping their places are Kiraly, Ifil, Watson, Soares and Kuqi.

So here we go, gonna carry on tomorrow, hope this crazy amount of signings doesn't backfire but I had no chance with the current squad.

Bugger, can't believe it, straight back down. Was so distraught I continued to 19th June so didn't get a screenshot, but suffice to say I finished bottom, although there was only 3 points difference between the bottom 5 clubs. I never got out of the relegation zone all season though.

Was one of the toughest seasons I've had on FM, normally I'm a pretty good manager and often over-achieve, but just didn't happen this time, not sure why.

Gonna go for some more bosmans and see if I can come straight back up and come up stronger.

Arse, bit of a setback this though. QPR are gonna have to wait a little longer! (maybe they'll get promoted so I don't have to do it! )

Quite surprised as I normally over-achieve with clubs so not sure what went wrong, but gonna get some more bosmans (there's some tasty ones available) and see if I can't come straight back up and come up stronger.
