Welcome to my challenge

Well, at the start of the season every team in the league has the possibility of winning the league despite the fact that many teams don't even consider the possibility and just concentrate on staying in the league. Every game starts at 0-0 so both teams have a chance so anything is possible in the end.

The Aim of this challenge is :

Using a team predicted to come in the bottom 3 of one of the chosen leagues, get as close as possible to winning the league with the overall aim being to win the league with a team tipped for relegation. This challenge requires someone with good moves in the transfer market as well as being tactically knowledgeable to hopefully tactically outclass the bigger teams.

Playable Leagues :

The top league only of each of the following countries - England, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Scotland, Portugal and Spain. Each league provides a different challenge with some most likely being easier than others.

Screen Shots Required :

- Club information page at the start showing the clubs predicted position
- Transfers in & out at end of both windows
- End of season table
- Any others that you may feel be of interest to the other players

Rules

- Load only the league you are playing in so that means you will only have one league running with one nation.
- No additional players loaded
- Large database
- Start date is obviously the one of your chosen country
- Player and tactic naming is allowed

I tried Pompey once, but got a bit fed up with players not wanting to come to the club despite having loads of cash.

Now I know how Paul Jewell felt.

Are the same three teams predicted to finish at the bottom every time? If so, could we have a list of eligible teams?

Yes, they are, playing on 7.0.2 of course.

England - Sheffield United, Watford, Reading
Scotland - St. Mirren, Falkirk, Dunfermline
France - Lorient, Troyes, Valenciennes
Holland - Willem II, ADO Den Haag, Heracles
Germany - Aachen, Cottbus, Wolfsburg
Spain - Gimnastic, Racing, Recreativo
Italy - Messina, Reggina, Siena
Portugal - Aves, Naval, P. Ferreira

Do Reggina have deducted points at the start of the game? That would be an awesome challenge.

Yes, I believe they do :thup: Can't quite remember how many points though. But seeing as the aim is to win the league it may hinder you're chances a bit.

Out of the list, I reckon Reading and Willem II have more than a decent chance of success.

Out of the available teams I'd say that either Racing, Wolfsburg or maybe Reading have the best squads. Not sure who to be yet, will post my team soon :thup:
