Default Evertonblokes big long challenge

Hi Everyone, to celebrate my new computer arriving (28th dec) I would like to put out a challenge to you all.

The idea is to collect all the cups on the following list:

Euro Vase
Euro Cup
Euro Champions Cup
Euro Super Cup
Commonwelth of Independent States Cup
CONCACAF Champions Cup
Carribean Cup
Copa Libertadores
Copa Sudamerica
Recopa
African Champions League
African Cup Winners Cup
African Super Cup
Asian Champions League
Asia Confederations Cup
Asia Presidents Cup
South East Asian Club Championship
AFC Cup
Tiger Cup/ASEAN Football Championship
Arab Champions League
Arab Super Cup
Royal League - top 4 teams from Norway, Sweden, Denmark
All Ireland Cup - Top teams from Ireland and Northern Ireland
World Club Championship
World Cup
European Cup
African Nations Cup
Asian Cup
AFC Challenge Cup
Copa America
CONCACAF Gold Cup
UNCAF Nations Cup

It is up to you to pick the leagues and database that you wish to run to be able to enter each of these cups.

You must win all the cups with one manager.

You must start off as an unemployed manager with no previous experience

The winner is the first to collect all these cups (if some are inaccurate then I will take them off the list)

Please post screenies of any cup wins and give updates on anything that you think would be interesting to the other challengers.

If anyone can advise on more cups that I could add then please do, and if anyone can confirm any of the above cups do not appear in the game then please tell me this also.

If you are unsure of what teams qualify for each cup then please check wikipeadia. If I am not too busy at work I will update the thread with entry condidtions to some of the lesser known cups

Have a good crimble everyone

You could at least have posted the minimum configuration required to have all these tournaments active in a game.

I have no idea of the minimum specs. I'm not very good with stuff like that to be honest.
My mate Neil is going to have a go at it and he has a Core2 Duo processor 1.66Ghz and 1Gig of RAM if that gives anyone an idea.

My old lap top would die trying that challenge. Dafuge's challenge with only English leagues selected is tough enough!

I meant the league configurations required to have all these tournaments active in the game.

I've never heard of the Commonwealth of Independent States Cup for example and have no idea what leagues would need to be active for this competition to be playable.

If you want people to take part in your challenge then you have to provide the information like this or people won't be interested.

Good idea for a challenge though - it'll definitely take some time

I'll try and get the entry conditions for as many as I can before I leave work! Its quiet today but I cant promise.

I totally see your point and a wanted to include the entry conditions but havent had a chance to look them up yet and I wanted to post the challenge before the christmas break.

Seems I may have gone off half cocked in the excitment!

Just to point out that some of these competitions cannot be won on FM. Namely:

Tiger Cup/ASEAN Football Championship
Carribean Cup
UNCAF Nations Cup
(not included - think CIS Cup isn't either, though I could be wrong)

Asia Presidents Cup
Arab Champions League
Arab Super Cup
(teams that play in the three competitions above aren't in playable leagues)

Based on that I think the following nations could be suggested to win the remaining trophies:

Europe: 1 from Norway/Sweden/Denmark, 1 from NI/Republic and a "big" league (England?)
Africa: S.Africa (of course)
S. America: Argentina/Brazil
N. America: Mexico
Asia: Malaysia/Singapore (not Indonesia as their clubs don't play in AFC Cup) and perhaps Korea/Australia
Oceania: Retain New Zealand?

That leaves 8 leagues to be selected (unless you want to win the CL with a Norwegian/Swedish/Danish/Irish side, which is harder).

I think Mexican teams play in one of the South American continental competitions, which is why I suggested them.

Turns out that they play in both the Libertadores and the Sudamericana, so one less league can be selected (a South American nation should have enough players on a small database anyway).
